My wife and I have just come back from a long weekend staying here. We were skiing in Perisher which is just about 40 minutes from this place. Thredbo is closer. We left at 8am and it was an easy run in with ample parking available. As it was just the 2 if us we stayed in the 1 bedroom... More

Andrea's White House is no longer a B&B, but is still a relaxing place to stay after a day's skiing. We stayed in the 1Brm apartment attached to the main house. It has everything you need, with a massive kitchen, log fire, underfloor heating and comfy bed. You get some noise from the main house as the kitchen adjoins their... More

This property is amazing! With 5 bedrooms (all with ensuites), two huge living areas, huge kitchen and huge dining area it is fantastic for both families or a group of friends. We arrived to find it warm and snug inside with underfloor heating and the option to use the double sided fireplace if needed. Plenty of wood is supplied. There... More

We stayed here outside the ski season as a weekend break from Canberra. It's a beautiful place, and one we'd seen glimpses of through the trees on the way to Thredbo without knowing what it was. We were B&B novices, and this was a great way to dip our toes in the water. Plenty of privacy but also a lovely... More

I agree with all the other reviews, the White House combines great design, modern elegance, loads of comfort AND genuine hospitality. There is a sign over the fireplace that says 'Arrive as guests, leave as friends'. I would suggest we were friends long before it was time to leave. Paul is a real people person and is happy to share... More

We arrived Friday night after a long drive and were greeted by our lovely host Paul who really made the stay. The fireplace was lit, music was playing and the lounge perfect for a wine or two. The four guest rooms are cosy and comfy with lovely en-suites. Two of the rooms look straight out onto the beautiful Australian alpine... More

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was fabulous. Accommodation in the area is notoriously expensive and bad quality. Andrea's White House was everything we were looking for. Bedrooms have comfortable king size beds, and lovely little extras like robes & slippers. The common area has lounges and a fireplace and there is also a dining area with... More

If you only ever stay in one B&B in your life, stay at this one. I simply cannot praise this place enough - it genuinely was the perfect place to stay in the Snowy Mountains. Hospitality was warm and welcoming and they will do anything for you - recommend restaurants, ski hire (where you get a discount!) in fact even... More

Loved the lounge with open fire, books, games & port; best place to relax after a day on the slopes or just sightseeing. Heating comes from under the floor, no electric blanket, no tea making & no internet but we didn't miss it! Loads of fresh air & great company, Pauls' top breakfasts set us up for a full day.... Easily the best stay we've had anywhere, and we've stayed in some very fine places indeed. What made it so good? Paul. Paul is your host, and a very good one at that. Paul has found the perfect balance between ensuring his guests are well taken care of, whilst ensuring space and privacy. And he cooks the most amazing poached... More
