We stopped on our way home from North Wales. The village is very nice and thought to have a stop in the local pub. To be honest the experience was disappointing: we had to wait nearly an 45 minutes for a baguette and a burger, even if we were basically the only ones waiting for food (all the people at... More

Stopped in for an evening meal on a Monday night with 2 close friends. The welcome was really good by the staff member at the bar and friendly. We ordered drinks and 4 meals. The food was excellent and the size of each meal was a overwhelming, there was no room for a sweet. would highly recomened.

We were looking forward to visiting the New Inn as we had heard it was very friendly and the food was amazing. Unfortunately this was not our experience. We had to ring the bar bell more than once and the lady who eventually served us was very rude. When we asked if we could place a food order, we felt... More

Sarah and Neil took us in at the last minute after I had messed up my booking elsewhere, and were really welcoming and friendly. Great hosptality and and yummy breakfast. Reasonable rates too for a bunkhouse in the area.

In a very small town this pub has friendly staff, great service and cheap prices. It is also has rooms which you can stay in. It is close to the waterfall and lake, great place to stop off and have lunch

Stopped for lunch on our way towards Anglesey. Welcomed by the staff and we both had surprisingly good fish and chips, given that it was quite late for lunch and just after a very busy mothers day weekend.

I was travelling to North Wales with my wife and son, and we were looking for somewhere to stop for lunch when we found this pub. There was a reasonable choice from the menu, and a good choice of beers. The food was served fairly quickly, and was well prepared. As is was a January Monday afternoon the place was... More

Decided to pop here as it is local to us for an evening bar meal. Hubby had steak pie which was fine and I ordered a chicken burger as I only fancied something a bit smaller. The meal was well presented etc and chips were nice but the burger itself wasn't very appetising, just like a piece of soggy sponge... More
