The New Inn is a pub with rooms in the tiny village of Llangynog. There's a 2nd pub (owned by the same people as the New Inn) and that's all.You need to go into Bala (13 miles) or the next small village if you want to buy anything and you pass no other eating options on the way to these... More

We ate here on the 12th of July and I have to say we had the best lamb steaks ever. Just melted in the mouth can still smell and taste them now. Can't wait to go back again fantastic. Definitely worth a 5

A very good place to stay at just under the beautiful mountains fresh air to breath, and see the best of Wales. Located in a small village worth a stay for a quote peaceful break. Rooms were clean. The staff was very helpful, very good and very polite. We had two rooms book and it felt a separate floor just... More

Always have a good meal here. Lots of choice and not overly priced. The puddings are YUMMY. Its nice to sit out on the patio watching the world go by in such beautiful surroundings. Dont pass without stopping off, you won't be disappointed.

Llangynog is a lovely little rural town, very peaceful with 2 nice pubs - New Inn & Tanat Valley Inn. We stayed at the New Inn, very welcoming, very clean, comfortable room & very nice, generous meals. We'd wished we had longer than the 1 night & would return there any day - Thank you.

In a village with no shop or other food and beverage outlet ,the owners have made their menu available to holidaymakers in local cottages and caravan park. There was no restriction on what was available on the. Menu. Two nights my wife and I eat there ,the food was more than ample and good. so was the beer! The menu... More

We went to The New Inn for a meal whilst staying in Llangynog. The helpings were very generous, and the both the plaice and gammon are recommended. The menu is varied, and includes vegetarian choices. The first time we went in it was Sunday and the pub was packed with people having Sunday roast; it's obviously very popular. In the... More

We stopped on our way home from North Wales. The village is very nice and thought to have a stop in the local pub. To be honest the experience was disappointing: we had to wait nearly an 45 minutes for a baguette and a burger, even if we were basically the only ones waiting for food (all the people at... More

Stopped in for an evening meal on a Monday night with 2 close friends. The welcome was really good by the staff member at the bar and friendly. We ordered drinks and 4 meals. The food was excellent and the size of each meal was a overwhelming, there was no room for a sweet. would highly recomened.
