Stayed here several times over the last couple of years. Found the place to be an ideal stop off point. Facilities are more than adequate even though a little basic. No restaurant but next door is convenient for breakfast and dinner. Underground car park is free.

Convenient for the University and public transport associated with University yet walkable into town in 15-20mins. Everything you need, good shower/bath, TV wifi (€5 a day), decent clean rooms without damage at a decent price. Also lovely views of Limerick countryside / river Shannon area from my room.

this was the worst hotel We have ever stayed in. We were there as part of a Basketball finals for 13 year old boys and treatment was awful. We were not allowed check in until 8 pm even Though the boys were there at 2.30 and had to play 3 matches. The hotel is breaking every rule in the book... More

Dear Thebeastalways, Thank you for your review, it very regretful that you base all your comments on an incident concerning a lift. I have wrote to you and explained the full circumstances of this incident and it is most unfair that you are blaming the Hotel for this. We operate with one team member as most Travelodges throughout the Country... More

My son was stuck in a lift and we had to call the fire brigade because the only person working there was unable to deal with the situation. Not her fault as she was on her own, responsible for everything and untrained to deal with such an emergency.

Our stay was overall good, staff was helpfull and friendly. Room was nice and big, bathtub should have been bigger to be comfortabel to sit in. There was a very cold café next door were one could have breakfast and also very good dinner or lunch.

Booked the travelodge as it was the cheapest accomodation close to UL. Hotel was very comfortable and great value for money, very convenient to the university. Continental breakfast turned out to include cooked breakfast / all you can eat. Impressed overall

Firstly, I booked four rooms but was informed on arrival that I booked only two rooms. However, I was charged for four rooms despite not seeing my other rooms. Getting into my room ir was a blast furnace from the heat. No A/C means opening the windows all night with all the noise from the road below giving me little... More

For the price, you'd expect less than average hotel - but not with Travelodge Castleroy in Limerick. I booked a twin room, and it was clean, yet simple (which Travelodge warns about on their website). The bathroom was clean as well, but the extractor fan made loud clunking sounds like someone was dropping a metal bucket from high. It might... More

Easy to book, easy to get to, good service, good room, friendly staff. Guy at check was very helpful, friendly and efficient ( good news after 9 hours travelling). Room was clean and big with a comfortable desk to work at. Bed was very comfortable.

I have stayed in many Travelodge's across the UK and this was the 2nd time I visited the Castletroy Limerick hotel. As always, the rooms are presented well, they're spacious, comfortable, clean and modern. The television has several free-view channels, available Wi-Fi and tea/coffee etc. The bathroom is clean and meets all your needs. I would recommend a Travelodge to... More
