I just wanna say, I gave this place 5 stars because this by far is the cleanest and best hotel in this small town. I am drawing comparison to other surrounding hotels, not on an international standard. I had sussed out 3-4 different hotels and guest houses around the vicinity and trust me, this place is the cleanest and most... More

Just stayed there for one night to visit Phoum Kandal & Chong Kos floating villages... and although both, and Kampong Chhnang itself are quite interesting, was enough. Basic but ok! About meals: No possibility to contract Dinner and/or breakfast. And as there is no other alternatives around, must be arranged directly with the next door lazy staff restaurant. Be careful... More

When thinking of the worst things to ensure a poor rating, stains on the bed linen is right up there. Sadly there were stains (I hope stains and not dirt) on both sheets The room was large - very large but the toilet shower was really small with the shower used over the toilet. That is its a wet room... More

This is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. The majority of the staff are rude, the food in the restaurant is bland and if you dare to try and go in for lunch you will have to wake up one of the many waitresses sleeping across the chairs or drag them away from the TV for... More

We stayed in Kampong Chhnang for a night in April 2014. It's right on the main Highway which was under construction right outside the hotel, which in a way was good as the traffic noise was non-existent. We had a room on the first floor right at the front of the hotel and our WIFI was excellent. We has the... More

We spent 2 nights in Kompong Chhnang in July 2013, the hotel is on the main road to Phnom Penh. I think we paid $15 a night for a large a/c room with on suite with free wifi. The room was spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels. We had a meal in the restaurant the food was good. The staff... More

I spent four weeks in Cambodia and this hotel was good in most respects -- clean, everything shiny new, large rooms, AC working, wifi working, hot water actually hot, and so on. The first floor rooms on the left must be awful as their windows face onto the restaurant. Fortunately I was on second floor. The staff really tried hard... More

Good clean rooms and hot showers. This is all you need for a good stay. Stayed here overnight whilst visiting Samaritans Purse projects in the province. An easu=y walk to the markets and the local shops

The hotel is nice and clean and the restaurant serves good food. Kompong Chhnang - or espacially the riverside - is very charming. Absolutely worth a day or two - or a very long daytrip - from Phnom Penh.

As the other reviewers have said, this is a decent hotel for a provincial town in a poor country. It is what passes for a business hotel in rural Cambodia- you get AC, a comfortable bed, hot water and a lobby full of hardwood carvings and other environmentally irresponsible decorations. At $15 for a double, it is reasonably priced and... More
