We found Maniti Expeditions through an online search. They seemed to offer everything we were looking for, and they had reasonably good reviews, so we booked online, making a 50% credit card deposit. Although the website said that they accepted American Express, my deposit would not process using AMEX, so I switched to MasterCard. Once I had booked our flight... More

I was travelling in solo, and in the first day, my tour guide asked me whether you would like to stay in the jungle for 2N instead of just staying in the lodge. I was frustrating whether to accept this offer and of course I did finally and resulted an unforgettable experience to stay 2N in the amazon jungle!!

Did not know what to expect but must say my experience Exceeded my expectation of Amazon Jungle. Staff were amazing and very helpful . Food was authentic however could have been spicy . Highly recommend to others Couple of things If I may suggest The rooms were clean but a chamber maid service would have bn great with perhaps clean... More

This was a great trip in general, and I did see a lot. While we did not follow the itinerary day by day, it was nice to have a personalized guide throughout the trip with great flexibility. My guide, Carlos, seemed to be very knowledgable in jungle medicine, calls, and had great stories to tell. It was a great starter... More

We did the 3D 2N camping expedition with Maniti in Dec 2015. I was traveling along with my wife and we were also joined by two Belgian women who did 5D 4N camping. Frankly speaking, I was a bit skeptical about the tour initially. The first day involved a lot of travel, about 2 hrs by road from Iquitos to... More

Overall a great trip, however it was not exactly as stated in the itinerary, and I felt that at the price (it definitely didn't come cheap), it was reasonable to expect what I'd paid for. Some things happened in a different order/on different days to what the itinerary said, which was not a problem, but on the second day, I... More

We spent a week in the jungle with the best guide ever! Ashuco knew everything about the jungle and put Doctor Doolittle to shame, with being able to mimic all the animals, calling in the monkeys near us, and identifying all the bird calls. I was also fascinated to learn about the "medicine of the jungle", the plants and trees... More

For a complete novice, this was a great introduction to the Amazon. I think I got plenty for the price and had a good experience. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the Amazon--he was definitely the highlight. We did Monkey Island, swam in the Amazon, saw dolphins, fished for piranhas, hiked through the jungle, and saw a... More

We had an exciting 2 nights despite dreadful weather. As two young female travellers we had our concerns about adventuring in to the amazon but were well looked after. We were fortunate as nobody else booked on to our tour allowing us to tailor make. Wonderful wildlife / jungle scenery! We wished that we could have stayed for longer. No... More
