Two nights, in a very chilly Auckland, and not an extra blanket to find. VERY light on the bedding, so I ended up wearing my thermals to bed AND leaving the heat-pump on, which was NOT very effective in the large room. My poor mate that slept in the lounge area on the fold-out (which I had to pay extra... More

We travelled from the South Island with my 94 year old mother-in-law. We were made welcome and felt at home from the beginning. Rooms were clean. Staff courteous and friendly. Nothing was a trouble for them to do for us. Linen changed and units cleaned every day. We enjoyed the spa pool. Perfect location for the motel - close to... More

Very nice room which was clean and in a lovely quiet area. Very comfortable bed and a superb shower. Check in was easy and the staff very friendly. Great place to stay if attending anything at the North Shore Events Centre.

Three rooms were booked each room had a pull out sofa bed. In Albany for my sister in-law funnel, which was held at Snappy Rock Road, and wanted to stay some where handy to the venu and the motorway, as my sisters in-laws who are in their late 70's had travel from Tauranga and Masterson. one of the sisters had... This is a standard motel in a convenient location. Quiet and clean, with helpful staff and close restaurants and cafes. Easy accommodation. Ample car park, and pleasant layout. Only room noise was distant road hum if you leave the window open.

I am a frequent business traveller to this Motel. A very friendly family staff and a ginger cat welcomes you to a good sized room - all airconditioned. The beds are fantastic - I was late for the meeting the first time so I will use the alarm in the future. Great TV with Sky TV. Negatives: You need a... More

This motel had all the amenities that you could ask for, in a quiet yet easily accessible location. With tea/coffee making facilities, a kitchenette, and air conditioning, it made it a welcome place to come back to, to lay ones head for the evening. The room was clean and tidy, with the linen changed daily. Checkin and check out was... More

The unit was reasonably clean but the furnishings were of minimal standard, the bathroom flooring had been 'fixed' and was cosmetically unappealing, the shower was slow. The worst feature was the lack of windows ans ventilation in the bedroom. How this motel is considered second best on the Shore I don't know. i stayed at Aristotles during the same week... More

Good sized room, good beds, clean, friendly. Shower overflows, shower head is fixed low, toilet bowl cracked, no heated towel rail, unit door jams open on floor.
