We were on Hornby Island last summer with our kids and rented the studio adjoining the main house. The kitchen was well equipped, which was great because we were usually too tired at night after a day at the beach to go out to eat. We planned to stay on Hornby for three nights but were sadly disappointed and left after only one night. Suzanna and Giff let one room in their house for bed and breakfast - the Green Room. Their house is really unusual, set back in the forest with lots of curved walls and full of art and ceramics.
