We had a great time even with a last minute booking. We got one of the busiest traffic sites and everything was great with no problems at all. Kids loved it and we will be staying here again next year.

The Manager, Linda, was very friendly on the phone when I booked and again when I checked in. This large campsite has billions of kids running and riding around. This is why my children had such a ball. They linked up with other kids at the playground, rode to the beach and to the Co-op and had that feeling of... More

We began camping here before we were married :) This place has been the home base of many memorable summer vacations. Sure, it may not be for everyone but is what makes this campground and Hornby Island so great. With our daughters being teens now, they too have loads of childhood memories swinging on the jumbo swing and sneaking thru... More

2:33 am in the morning and just arrived back home yesterday from the trip from Vancouver. Linda runs a great campsite at Tribune Bay. She is a busy lady and she has seen many visitors over her years looking after the campsite. If she did not get back to you, its because she was busy. Over heard her talk about... More

Decently private sites, (good tree barriers between sites). Spent about a week here. Shower houses are fine but don't go in and around dinner hour as every Mom in the campground is trying to shower their kid(s) and it'll take forever. This campground is a stones throw from the coffee shops and co-op, and a little restaurant that serves a... More

I emailed Tribune Bay Campsite back in early June inquiring if there was a cancellation list for 2 adults looking for 1 tenting site for a weekend in August, as my husband and I wanted to head over there for his birthday. We have been many time in the past, usually for a weekend each summer, and wanted to revisit... More

This campground has changed over the years and currently is well suited to families with kids. The location - a few minute walk to the most beautiful beach on the coast- is the biggest attraction. The sites are varied with some having privacy, others not. Very quiet at night given the number of kids staying there. The bathrooms are out... More

I emailed this site the first day followed closely by several phone calls with only one answer. A girl who would have someone call me back to book a site but could take my MC number. I told her when someone calls me back I'll give them the number. No one ever called. I have called at least ten times... More

We have been going to this campsite for over ten years, and I've just returned today from a one-week stay. I felt prompted to write my first review of it by the fact that this latest stay was the best so far. The location of this campground can't be beat and obviously that hasn't changed, but what's new is the... More

I booked this campsite, then saw the reviews and was horrified that my birthday weekend was going to be awful. However, my husband, two girls (5 & 7) and I had a great time. Yes, it's true, there are no flushing toilets and at one point I probably would have paid 5$ for access to one, but as far as... More
