After cycling from Vancouver looked forward to a nice and reasonably priced B&B. We arrived at 4 pm, and soon were asked to settle bill for the night. Had to ask if we could be shown to room first and be down shortly to pay. Although the VISA logo is shown in window it was cash or check only, breakfast... More

The farmhouse is a prime example of classic period Vancouver Island architecture and set beside the bay with rolling lawns down to the sea and has beautiful landscaped gardens, carefully tended by the owners. The hosts are a lovely Scandinavian couple who were extremely friendly and helpful and proved really interesting. The interior of the house is stunning and we... More

A very pleasant stay in a comfortable clean and welcoming B&B. Lovely bedroom and outlook (silk sheets!) plus a nice general living area for guests to relax in. Laurids and Vivianne are very warm and friendly hosts. They provide a sumptious breakfast - one of the best we have had at a B&B. Lovely gardens with views out over the... More

The cozy charm of this B & B and the hosts Vivianne and Laurids made for a positive Bed and Breakfast experience. We so enjoyed the substantial breakfast provided, so much so that lunch wasn't an option. The beautiful location right on the edge of the tidal flats was so soothing and relaxing we almost didn't want to leave to... More

Laurids and Vivianne are amazing. They are the most gracious hosts who treated me like royality. The room was beautifully furnished in a 1908 home and was so clean! The breakfast they served had vegetables from their garden, fruit from their trees, freshly baked goods from their oven and eggs from the local farm. The food was simply delicious! The... More

We stayed in the cheery and comfortable Cowichan Room. The beautifully kept yard overlooked the tide flats of Cowichan Bay with its herons and geese. We had a very relaxing evening watching the sunset and the tide come in. The resident gray goose, Robert, added to the beauty of the sunset by swimming in the reflecting water. ViviAnne and Laurids... More

We stayed in the Koksilah Suite for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The century-old farmhouse overlooks the tidal mud flats of Cowichan Bay. The tranquil grounds included several fruit trees, a gazebo, and hot tub. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The hosts provided a huge delicious breakfast each morning. While the inn is only about a mile... More

Our first time and first night on Vancouver Island at The Old Farm B & B was very nice. The home is very old but completely restored with all the modern comforts you could want. We stayed in the Robert Service Suite which contains a fireplace, very comfortable kingsize bed, full kitchen, large bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower... More

Wonderful hosts and a a great B&B facility. We have stayed at B&B's all over Western Canada and the Old Farm ranks as one of the best. The loation is perfect for tourists enjoying southern Vancouver Island and the gulf islands. We will certainly return to this facility when we are vacationing in the area again
