We entered Waterton Springs, not knowing what to expect. Seeing all the RV sites, we were very uneasy of how the tenting was going to be. We got to where we were camping, and we were very excited and much more at ease since it was in the bushes, and more private than the RV park. The washrooms were kept... More

My daughter and I stayed here as the town site was full. We were in 212 which was extremely private with a fire pit. In order to get electricity we had to use their extension cord across the road allowance. Would definitely stay here again. It is only minutes from the national park and if you have your pass there... More

It's a nature conservation park so it's wild and beautiful. Its a few minutes drive from the main waterton park entrance so the location is ideal. They allow you to have fires in real pits too, which is a huge selling point over the campgrounds in the park. The tent sites are fantastic and are in heavily wooded sites that... More

I was here on July 26-28, 2013 and in 2010. The manager was very nice and allowed me to switch sites when I got there even though it was a busy weekend. (Thank you!) Word of advice, go on a weekday because weekends are very busy. That way you get your pick of the best sites. Some of the sites... More

It is the worst camping experience I ever had. There were three Korean families arrived at 12:30am, they started camping fire, laughing, talking, eating until 2:00am. We tried to ask them to be quiet, but they said they needed to feed their kids. What can you do to stop their kids talking and yelling." but the adult also talked and... More

Site 97 great view but site 98 to the right and site 96 to the left is basically on top of us. Lack of privacy ruined the mood, well for me, especially since I came out from Nova Scotia to see my wonderful adventure buddy. Having the sites this close, found it hard to enjoy my stay. Site 96 I... More

Hi everyone We stayed here July 9-12 Site 123 is awesome - trees, privacy and close to washroom. Very clean showers and excellent laundry but the best part was the staff - they were kind, helpful and just great people. The interpretive walk is good and it is so close to Waterton National park the boys jogged the 8 km... More

This is one of my favorite places to camp, always clean, friendly staff, and I always look forward to my next visit. I stay at least 6 or 7 times a year. I prefer the personable treatment we have received over the convenience of staying in townsite campground where you are just a number. On our second time staying there... More

We like camping in the Waterton Park area in the summer. Usually we try to stay at Crandell Mountain Campground in the park. However, it is difficult to get a site in the busy high season. This summer, we tried this location. It turned out to be a very good alternative to camping in the park. This is a large... More

Grounds are a bit unkempt. We booked 3 weeks in advance and ended up double booked on a site. When we arrived, there was a family already set up on our site, so they had to find somewhere else to put us. The sites they found were nice enough. Well treed and reasonably private. (We were in tents). Sites were... More
