We have camped here several times (tenting and rv). We have had a good experience each time. We have found the showers clean with adequate hot water. You need to purchase tokens to operate the showers and they will buy back any unused tokens. The bathrooms are fairly clean. The playground is outdated but my kids still had fun. Convenient... More

My brother and I stopped here two nights because of the proximity to the National Park, which had closed most of its camping facilities for the season. We occupied an unserviced space with a camper unit and no need to use the facilities, save to dump tanks and water up. Staff was eager to help all comers, even those seeking... More

This was our second time to camp at Waterton Springs, once in August 2014 and once many years ago. This time, we were in a tent so we were at the mercy of the campground, as far as the washrooms and showers go. The campsite is close to Waterton, which is why we stayed there. We would not make this... More

We stayed here because the campgrounds in Waterton Lakes National Park were full and were glad we ended up here. The campground is owned by the Nature Conservancy and seems to be operated by a family business. It is nice to see the conservation initiatives by the NC and know we were visiting an innovative partnership between ranchers and conservationists. The... More

If you're preferred camping style is tenting, this is a great campground. Camp sites are reasonably private, grassy, and equipped with a great fire pit. They have flush toilets, running water and a large laundry sink to help with dishes. This camp ground is 15 minutes away from Waterton national park. Although this region is very windy, this park is... More

I read all the good reviews before we stayed here, and now I wonder who wrote them. The management? When we pulled in with our 35 foot fifth wheel we barely had enough room to avoid hitting the table and the campfire ring. The spaces are very small, the grass is dead. We soon realized the campfire rings, which are... More

We have a 42' toy hauler, the spot was way too small, once pull outs open the fire pit was a mere 1.5 foot away. The grass is dead and mostly gone so hard on animals for resting. Lots not kept up, not manicured or cut. Playground old and useless. We left after first night with a paid 5 night... More

This campsite surpassed my expectations. It was well maintained and most of all really quiet. We had no idea that there were that many sites until we walked around. It is incredibly close to the entrance of Waterton park. The family operating the site are all very helpful, when we realized that we were out of tinfoil they gave their... More

This was our first time here and we will be coming back again. The site is very well kept and the mangers are super nice and accommodating. Definitely a family orientated camp ground with things for the kids to do. There are some things that are dated but as far as I am concerned a person is here to camp... More

I was referred to this campsite by the Father-In-Law of the owners. I was looking around to secure a last minute reservation as I was driving out from Canmore. They were incredibly helpful and kind. The campsite was wonderful and had a lot of lovely places for the kids to play. They have a number of bathrooms, showers and laundry... More
