Our family of 6 spent two nights here in August in order to hike the Crypt Lake Trail. It was clean and comfortable, and we absolutely loved the fact that we could drive up to our door and unload hiking gear directly into the room. Some of the other perks were that the hotel basically provided almost everything we needed,... More

We stayed for three nights in room #22 while visiting Waterton National Park and the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park. I really wanted to like this motel more than I did...but more about that in a minute. The motel doesn't try to be anything other than what it is. It was built in the 1960's and has stayed... More

We love Waterton, but struggle to find accommodations for a family that is affordable. We also appreciate having a kitchen and living room to cook and provide extra space for a few days. Bear Mountain Motel more than met our expectations. I had read their website and the reviews on Trip Advisor, so we were well aware that the motel... More

The best that can be said about this motel is that it is well located and the staff is friendly. Other than that, it was mostly a bad experience. We stayed there at the end of July, 2014, in a 3-room unit (2 small bedrooms and a small sitting room). The motel is old and looks like it has never... More

It's not a spa; but it's clean, beds are comfortable, it's quiet at night and it's REASONABLY priced! The only discomfort we had was it was very warm and we longed for air conditioning. But, it cooled off after dark, and we slept fine. Everything in town is within walking distance.

We stayed at the motel for one night on our recently trip to USA / Canada. We were traveling from Glacier NP to Lake Louise. It was too much of driving for one day. So we decided to stay a place along the way. We didn’t find a lot of options when we were doing our research online. We chose... More

We thought we were relocated here from the other hotel which overbooked us, only to find out we were actually staying and another place with a similar name 20 min out of town! What was really amazing was Becky's hospitality at the front desk. She was genuinely concerned about our situation and did everything in her power to help. She... More

We stayed for two nights at the Bear Mountain motel during our summer holidays last year. The rooms are basic, ours had a small kitchenette with two cooking plates, there was no large pot. Microwave is outside for everybody to share. Luckily it was close to our room as it was raining heavily. The walls are painted brick. The bedspread... More

Stayed two nights in early July. Although there was a notice warning us that "soundproofing was rare in the 1960s" our corner room was quiet. We did not hear the neighbors. The room (and especially the bathroom) were very small. If cleanliness is next to godliness, then this place was heaven. Considering its age, it was "very well preserved." The... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Mountain! For the two nights we stayed it was perfect. The room was very clean, the bed was surprisingly comfortable and the shower was better than some in 5 star hotels we've stayed in! The lobby had coffee and hot water available throughout the day and evening along with various teas and hot... More
