Location could not be beat. Right by waterfront. But traffic is heavy as there is a marina and a pathway that leads on to it. Ample parking and walking distance to all shops. Rooms a bit dated. Furniture needs upgrading.

The Inn is built facing out to the lake in a wonderful position. All but a handful of the rooms face the lake (those that don't face the car park). The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds and a small verandah. Aircon and a fridge. A perfect base for anyone wanting to exlore the Park on wter... More

This was my second stay at Bayshore Inn and if you were to ask me would I stay a third time.. I'd probably say yes, but... and there is a butttt! Make sure you are not on the ground floor, and definitely make sure you are not near an exit. This resort is all about the location, I would say... More

We spent a bit extra and reserved a balcony lake-front room and we loved it! Looked right out on Waterton Lake and watched boats and people-watched the folks strolling or walking by the lake. We even saw deer grazing by the lake. The charming village was RIGHT there and was lovely to walk through, shop, and dine. The restaurant here... More

Large two story Inn with Restaurant, spa, and gift shop. Inn is older style, but reasonably clean. The village of Waterton, is in the International Peace Park, and is very small with 2 streets of restaurants and shops. The Inn is located a short walk from the lake and other businesses. The scenery is great and the area quaint. Is a... More

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 children for 4 nights at the end of July. Room 120. This is a family suite that was perfect for us (space wise) The beds were comfortable and the view/access to the lake could not be beat anywhere in Waterton. I grew up coming to Waterton every summer. I love it... More

I want to first truly apologize for your negative experience . I have gathered all our housekeepers and showed them your post on what we should never be. I have looked into the smell and it must be gone as i did not smell anything but after your note i had the rugs steam cleaned. We typically clean all check... More

We stayed two nights at this motel. The location was perfect. We were on the second floor with a balcony facing the river. The room was clean but well used. Air conditioning was available but we just used the ceiling fan and kept the sliding glass door open. Yes the sliding door had a screen which is absolutely necessary because... More

A pleasant stay at this older motel right in the heart of town---you can easily walk to everything in town. The room was adequate and comfortable, tho a view of the parking lot is not my idea of a first class lodging. A lakeview would be much nicer. The attached restaurant was vey good and the service was friendly and... More

I had a corner romantic suite on the second floor, overlooking the lake and outdoor patio. The room is definitely well- appointed, with a really nice covered deck that included a two-person swing. The room price was $289 per night - absolutely outrageous, considering the hotel is in need of a good cleaning and much repair. The bed needs to... More

For $270/night in most places you'd have a beautiful hotel with lots of great amenities. For $270/night in Waterton, you get a lot less. Waterton is expensive and the Bayshore Inn is proof of that. The hotel is old. The bathrooms are tiny. Mini fridge is small. AC unit barely cooled the room so we weren't able to get a... More

Hello - I am truly sorry that you had such a negative experience. Waterton Lakes National Park , although open year round, most business are only open for 5 months of which 3 months are busy. It is true that the rates here at all hotels are high however that is a forced reality due to a short season yet... More
