We went to Waterton National Park this summer and unfortunately decided to pick this hotel. For starters the food was terrible. We were pretty upset on how they treated their staff as well. We had the unfortunate experience of sitting in the little cafe within the hotel as one of their staff members got the book thrown at them for... more

Staying at the hotel was alright. The cleaning staff started early in the morning and were very noisy. Therefore could not sleep in past 8 am. We attended a wedding there on the 19th of September. The food was not the greatest. The corn was overcooked. We couldn't figure out the chicken with the oil squirting out!!!! Was not tasty... more

Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife and 10 year old daughter and we had a really good time. We had a room with balcony that overlooked the little marina. It was a delightful view with the Prince of Wales hotel looking splendid on top of the bluff in the distance. The rooms are motel style and the corridors... more

We never want guests toleave us with a bad experience however this guest failed to check the description on the website as it clearly states that lakefront views could be either the view of Waterton Lake OR the Prince of Wales and the marina. The guest states that the room was booked 2 months in advance, but it doe not...

We came into town without a reservation and the Bayshore Inn is on the water right at the end of the little town. You can walk to everything, dinner, ice cream, shops. Our room was on the second floor and overlooked the main street of town. We had a balcony that we sat on till it got too cool. Clean... more

This property is typical of what you find in the National Parks of the U.S. and Canada. This is simply put a motel. I suppose it could rate a little over two stars due to location and layout. The restaurant is substandard and pricey with only average service.. The bar is a little better. All in all, this is not... more

One night stay in Waterton last year. Booked based on the location and waterfront. Do not get deceived by waterfront as open view, its surrounded by trees all over though its right next to river. You cannot beat the location as it's right in the heart of Waterton. Our room as quite immaculate in size with two queen size beds,... more

My boyfriend and I just returned from our 2 week vacation through Alberta and Montana. I made a reservation at the Bayshore Inn but was very hesitant because of some of the reviews on tripadvisor. I didn't really have a choice as all the other hotels were sold out. I even went so far as calling the hotel, talking to... more

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful trip to Glacier and the surrounding areas. We loved everything about the trip except the Bayshore Inn. The room was certainly not worth the price - old, tired and used. Even worse, they charge you when you book the room and put a hold on your credit card for an additional... more

The guest has described the room as old, tired and used, however all of our rooms have been renovated in the past 2 years. We now have plush white comforters, in room safe, high thread count sheets, new bath tubs, new televisions, irons and iron boards and environmentally friendly toiletries. We have also completely renovated the outside of the building...

Do not get me wrong. The location is beautiful and definitely worth the travel, where ever you may be coming from. However the hotel itself is less then a desirable getaway. Like many other reviewers there was a complication with booking my room. I booked a room with a lake view and instead arrived to a room without one. Understandable,... more

Mistakes do happen in the and the guest was understanding about that. We do take responsibility when something like this occurs and we try to rectify the problem as best we can. In regards to renting rooms by the hour that is definitely not an accurate description of our hotel. We have a number of corporate getaways, weddings, and families...
