We stayed in a local campground, but our kids wanted to go swimming. We checked with the front desk and they confirmed they offer swimming. Pool is nice, but gym and rec area are a bit run down. Had lots of fun in the pool and had a nice warm shower after.

I arrived early and was greeted by the desk staff who, when I inquired if a room was ready, was told in a condescending tone, "I really doubt it because you're so early but I'll check anyway." As it turned out there was one ready. Lucky me. Well not for long. Got to the room on the second floor of... More

Our second-floor room was in quite good condition (we were worried by reviews saying the hotel is run-down). Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was in good shape. Carpet needed replacement since it was covered with many stains. TV is old. Otherwise we thought the room was completely acceptable. Our main issue would be the lack of Wi-Fi. Even in... More

The weekday special should be a deal, 199 Canadian, includes a bonus 50 for dinner and 25 for breakfast. For Waterton in the summer that sounds like a great deal. Other reviewers noted how dated this place is for the money you pay. You can do some quick math at how much their revenue is a day and realize the... More

This hotel is one of the most pricey properties in Waterton. The rooms are quite large, and ours had a jacuzzi tub and king bed. However, the property has no internet that works, and at check-in, you are advised to use the cafe across the street or the adjacent park! How can a park have wifi, and a large hotel... More

Cons: Couldn't get an internet signal on either of our computers (we were warned when we checked in that the internet was "spotty" in the units); very old TV with only a few channels; bed gave me a sore back, although it didn't seem to bother my husband, operable windows are set very low on the wall, making them unsafe... Were in the three bedroom suite, but noticed the lack of repair while entering for the first time. On the deck it became a more apparent. Needed lots of repair and paint., However, the location is great given it is Waterton and we can tend to put up with a few little oversights. The rooms were great, the location even... More

We reserved a room at this hotel as a "Walk-in" while visiting the very lovely Waterton National Park. We were greeted by a very accommodating, nice young lady at the front desk who seemed to be providing us with "upgrades " one after the next! Turns out it was an special package offer they were running for $199. CAD which... More

Stayed for about 1 1/2 weeks in a pet-friendly room. Housekeeping had to be requested (and didn't do a great job at that) and the rooms are outdated (all the places in Waterton are outdated, though, so this wasn't worse or better than others I've seen). Great location right in the middle of town and helpful front desk staff. The... More

We retraced the steps of our honeymoon 50 years ago. Terri Moore treated us like royalty, even bringing a bouquet of yellow roses to our table. She and her husband Joel made our visit very special. We were only able to stay one night, but the room was very nice, & the location is excellent. We will definitely return in... More
