The Hotel is not bad. The staff are not too friendly and the rooms have no AC so on a warm day the rooms are unbearable. Value for money is low. The 2 star hotel charging like a 5 star at 170 per night. No Breakfast included.

Hi Marc, we're sorry to hear you were unimpressed in your stay with us. Our rates are competitive with other accommodations in the park, and we actually have one of the lowest standard room rates of any other hotel. Our property is older and unable to house air conditioning units, so if you do choose to stay with us again... More

Staff was friendly, gave us the preference of ground level or upstairs. We chose ground level because of no A/C figured it would be cooler in the evening for us however we didn't get any sleep regardless because we could hear every movement of the people above us! From 2 am pillow talk to a 2 hour walk around the... More

We're so sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunately, we are an older property and this leads to some noisiness especially when we're at full occupancy. We are always working on renovations to improve overall guest comfort, so we hope you choose to give us another chance to impress you in the future. More

This hotel has a good location within walking distance to the lake, and little shops. The place itself is cute and has nice enough furniture, though admittedly, the bed was not overly comfortable. Check in went smoothly and the host who checked us in was polite and helpful. We already knew that there wasn't breakfast included with the room, so... More

Hi Rachel, thank you for writing us a review. Our property doesn't have air conditioning units in any of our suites, we're sorry to hear this was a deal breaker for you. We do have extra standing fans available for guest use from our front desk. We hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise! More

We stayed in one of the cottages last summer and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and very functional. Waterton is a spectacular park and the Aspen is perfectly located. Would absolutely recommend.

It's great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us at The Aspen Village last summer. We agree that the wifi can be spotty, but who really needs it when you have these glorious mountains surrounding you! We look forward to having you back again, and thank you for recommending us. More

Took a last minute overnight trip to Waterton, looked for cost effective lodging, chose Aspen Village. Based on other reviews, had realistic expectations (not high ones). The location was great. We were on the groud floor in a suite. Where to start... The dish towel in the kitchen was stained, the grout between the tiles in the kitchen/entry was crumbling... More

We appreciate you taking the time to go into detail about the state of your room, we assure you we will be thoroughly overlooking the suite before other guests check in. We are currently in the process of renovating all of our cabin suites, and unfortunately your suite hadn't been worked on yet. As you said, our already updated rooms... More

I recently made my way to Waterton and decided to stay at the Aspen Village motel. Check in was quick and my room was ready though it was early in the morning. Everything in my room was clean and worked well. Some of the amenities were dated but were very functional. My main reason for staying at Aspen Village was... More

Stumbled on this nice little place last year while googling pet friendly places in Waterton. We booked a little pet friendly cottage and we loved it. Had everything you would need in a hotel. Beds, bathroom, TV. Didn't spend much time in it as the real prize is Waterton itself. Perfectly located right in the middle of town with food,... More

We were tired and needed to sleep somewhere after hiking all day at the park. It was neat and clean and comfy, very dated but old a hook retro. I would recommend staying especially since it's right in the park.

Aspen Village is located in the middle of town. This makes for a great location for easy access to stores, restaurants and the lake. The hotel is very basic and a little expensive but because of the location and the price of other hotels it is better. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable.... We arrived in early September without reservations. Room was nice size but expensive. Quiet. Coffee pot worked. Refrigerator didn't work. Had to ask twice to have it replaced with a working one. When they brought the working one, he chose to leave both of them in our room. Toilet bowl was not particularly clean.
