Heather gave us such a warm and friendly greeting when we arrived it was a pity the weather didn't match. Despite the weather we had a lovely stay here, the room was well appointed and so comfortable and the breakfasts were delightful. Heather is such a pleasant host, she treats you as a friend not just a paying guest. My... More

Heather is a wonderful host who runs a very professional operation and for us this place was a real pleasure to stay at. The location is amazing and all the small touches like cookies and fruit distinguish this place from other less well run B&Bs. Heather will work tirelessly to make your visit special and frankly anyone who moans about... More

This was a return visit to Shintangles - we were there last year, and our experience once again was superb. Squeaky clean bathroom and bedroom, lovely linens and towels, comfortable beds and great breakfasts. Super quiet location, with wildlife right on the doorstep. Added bonus is lovely lounge area for guests, where you can get tea (22 varieites !), coffee,... More

Great choice for Waterton Lakes NP. The hotels in the village are overpriced and crowded. This B&B with just three rooms is a 10 minute drive from the village, but a world away. Quiet. Beautiful views. Heather the innkeeper was gracious and friendly. She even provided me an ice pack for my sprained ankle. Good breakfast. Coffee, tea, cookies, fruit... More

We stayed at Shintangles on the nights of August 2 and 3rd. We were pleased that Waterton Park had no accommodations, thus making us look outside of the park. It is one of those rare finds---a B & B built to be just that. Our room was very large, super clean and had such lovely views in two directions. The... More

We stayed 4 nights in July and had a wonderful time. Heather provides top notch service - the room was super clean and the breakfasts absolutely fantastic. The views from the windows were spectacular. Shintangle Springs is located only five minutes from the park entrance and it was nice to come back to a quiet oasis at the end of... More

We stayed at this B&B for three nights in early July 2013. It is located at GPS coordinates 49.17531, -113.83469, just 5 minutes north of the entrance to Waterton Lakes National Park. Although on the map it looked further, it was only a quick drive from the park entrance and there is a road sign showing you where to turn... More

We celebrated our 5th anniversary here and it was just right. We stayed in the Dungarvan room, and as everyone else has remarked - it's spectacular! We loved the picturesque setting looking at the mountains over the prairie, with a barn there - beautiful! Heather is a very attentive host and strives to make you feel at home. She has... More

We could see the beautiful mountains of Waterton National Park through the window of our room. Heather looked after our every need and she was very friendly and genuine, an excellent hostess. The rooms were very private and clean and the central room was stocked with snacks, an incredible assortment of tea and coffee. I would love to go back... More
