The Quatse campground is adjacent to the Salmon Stewardship Centre, which I was pleased to learn is supported by camping fees. The campground is maintained by a very kind couple who take good care of the facilities. The hot showers every morning were lovely, and the bathroom itself, very clean. We were able to use our own firewood, but also... More

This Regional Park is conveniently located just minutes from Port Hardy, British Columbia. The campground is centrally located to town and in a beautiful park like setting alongside the Quatse River. Your campsites are surrounded by huge old growth Spruce trees and others. An excellent choice for long term or short term camping. A full facility campground ideal for recreational... More

After spending a few days near Cape Scott this camp ground was a wonderful place to relax and chill. Lot's of wildlife, bears, salmon and plenty of Eagles. Don't worry about the Bears they were in the river fishing but fun to look at. Pretty clean camp spot had WiFi in the camp but better connection at the office sitting... More

We stayed one night on the way to Cape Scott and we were satisfied enough to stay on our return. The campground is quiet and clean and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The owner found us a great tent site that was really sheltered from the rain and that could accommodate two small tents. We didn't hear anyone... More

Following up on inquiries from other campers, we will stop by to remind folks about campground rules and regulations (a copy of which everyone must sign for and receive at check-in). There is no public parking within the campground (signs posted) and at this time campfires are strictly banned in the whole area. Use of equipment from other campsites is... More

After the ferry from prince Rupert to port Hardy we, a coue and 5 year old daughter, arrived very late at the campground. After midnight. The owner waited outside and handled all formalities while we were sitting in the car! So nice because we were tired and wanted to sleep. The man understands this, really super. We spent only one... Friendly, helpful staff. Clean well maintained facilities. Close to town and other amenities. Adjacent to interesting fish hatchery and interpretative center. Access to pleasant riverside walks and trails. Very reasonably priced for a site with these facilities.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here! One of the best experiences at a campground. Very welcoming owners and beautiful tent area. The showers and main bathroom were very clean. It was also very reasonably priced! Would definitely recommend :)

we stayed here two nights, surprised how much it cost to pitch a tent. Our site was #53 was okay, pretty clean. Enough room for your tent, vehicle and table/chairs. Campground keepers were friendly. when we left to go home we saw another campsite that charged $20/night with hookups for RVs! Would recommend flip flops in showers. Showers were nice... More

Our rates have not risen in two years and are competitive with other Vancouver Island sites. We have the best washroom, shower, and laundry facilities in the area and the largest site sizes for tenting sites. The funding we generate goes to support salmon habitat enhancement projects. As a publicly-owned facility we are dedicated to preserving and enhancing the park... More

This campground is perfection. We arrived to a campground with sincere owners, so friendly and helpful. The campground is so beautiful and quit next to the river. A lot bald eagles flying buy, see the salmon jumping over the rocks or swimming in the deeper water. Locals told us about bears feeding at a bridge nearby at a certain time... More
