I booked a room in January for a trip in August. You can't book on line. You have to send a request and they respond by email. They sent me an email confirming the reservation and the room rate. Later they sent me an email apologizing that the rate was wrong because rates go up in May. They quoted me... More

This place is a dump. Don't stay here. You will regret it. The room was filled with 3rd hand smoke, the bed was rock hard, the pillows lumpy, no flat screen tv, no real shower curtain, no real value. Even for $69.95 it's a ripoff. You would be better off buying three of the beautiful artwork pics on the wall... More

We needed somewhere for 1 night after arriving on the ferry from Prince Rupert and web searches didn't throw up a lot of choice. The hotel feels like a motel; large room, with fridge (worth turning off!), microwave and basic bathroom. Had a good night's sleep and good breakfast with "real" porridge. The big plus is that the Island Link... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night before taking the BC ferry to Prince Rupert. It is an old hotel but the room was of a generous size and it was clean. We were made welcome at the front desk and our shuttle to the ferry terminal was booked for us by reception. There is a supermarket opposite and... More

As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is good and the hotel clerk was kind. But that is about the only good things that can be said about the place. It is old, dirty, and you don't feel very safe. Certainly not worth the price. Only go if there are no other options.

This is an old hotel, with no amenities, but close to everything you would need. Given the price I expected more, however, the front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Also, although not fancy, the shower had lots of very hot water with a powerful stream.

Good staff make this hotel a place worth staying at. The building is old but clean. It is not fancy and a bit overpriced for what you get. it is convenient to downtown, easy to get to and not too far from the ferry terminal.

We booked this hotel online as a place to stay overnight before taking the 5:30 a.m. ferry from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. The hotel is located close to the local shopping centre, gas stations and A&W restaurant; however, the exterior is run-down and not terribly inviting. That said, the receptionist on the desk was friendly and helpful. She provided... More

This was the only place we could find with availability on short notice in Port Hardy. We were catching the ferry out early in the morning, and wanted to spend the night so that we wouldn't have to be driving in the middle of the night. The furnishings were old, the beds tired, and the bathroom was dark. Although tidy'ish,... More

This is a church-based low-income residence peddling rooms on the side for exorbitant fees. At least the sheets appeared clean.
