Shortest stay at a hotel ever! The carpet was badly stained; the room had an odour that hit you immediately. Going into the bedroom it became obvious that it was full of mold and mildew. Like most others, the only reason we stayed at the Pioneer Inn was to catch the ferry to Prince Rupert. That said, there is no reason not to stay in this hotel as it is the closest you can get to the ferry (and that's important at 04.30 in the morning!) and there is quite a nice nature reserve directly... more

Stay away! One big nightmare. Open the room means to awake the rodents and seeing them running through the room. the room was dirty, the fridge didn't smell, but stink after rotten fish, staff was rude and impolite. Moved to another hotel. more
