We (couple - early 50's) were in the middle of a 3 week road trip, leaving Vancouver Island after a week - heading from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert, then Haida Gwaii. I found Ecoscape on T.A. and based on the reviews, reserved Cabin 4 for 2 nights. This was a win on all counts: Location: the cabins are located... More

The delightful owners have hand built an extraordinary place. I was saddened to note daytime noise out of their control - rock pit over the hill. If you're out adventuring all day no problem - but noisy for hanging out weekdays.

We decided on this place based on other positive comments here on "Trip Advisor"..Wonderful little cabins, very clean and we'll appointed. Donna was more than eager to help with our trip planning while looking for good hiking spots. Out of town but still close enough that's it's no big deal. Highly recommend to fellow travelers.

We stayed in cabin number 2 for three nights at the end of June. It was wonderful! It’s only a few minutes away from town but you feel miles away. Even when it rains the cabin was bright with lots of space while still feeling cozy. Donna and Dan are great people and we will definitely be going back!

Stayed here for two nights in early February. The owners were away and the staff in charge were great. We were however asked to pay for the stay on checking in, which was very odd. My colleague and I had cabins 4 and 5 (green and orange in color respectively). The cabins are clean, with fully equipped kitchenette, marble floor... More

The ecoscape cabins are excellent, well appointed, cozy and the perfect distance from town. It's only minutes from town but gives you the feeling of being tucked away. The family run resort provides a friendly and casual feel. Great shower, comfy bed and perfectly appointed mini kitchens.

We stayed two nights at Ecoscape Cabins in Cabin 1. It was fabulous! The cabin was beautiful, clean, quite, well equipped, and has a view of Port Hardy across the bay. Donna and her husband designed, fabricated material for, and built the cabins. Donna was very friendly and helpful. She gave us ideas on what to do or see around... More

Ecoscape Cabins are the most beautiful place to stay on the north island!! We loved our cabin and being able to use the outdoor kitchen area after we had been fishing. Dan and Donna are so helpful and friendly and make Ecoscape a wonderful place to stay. Our cabin was immaculate, comfortable, and unique, and had an amazing view of... More
