I was one in a group of twelve divers from “Washington Diver’s, Bellingham WA”. We arrived at Port Hardy on May 8, 2015 for a week of diving. Bill was at the dock waiting for us when we arrived. A short thirty minute ride to God’s Pocket Resort in which we say a dozen eagles, seals and a few sea... More

I have been diving for over 30 years and God's Pocket Resort is one of the best - and not just for cold water diving. The diving is the best on the west coast (in my opinion), and Bill and Annie have created a little piece of heaven in this resort. I have been diving in many exotic locations, and... More

It was for sure the best dive resort I've been to in the west coast. Excellent food and great staff with an awesome dive master. Elevator on the dive boat and they bent over backwards to make sure we had the time of our lives. I plan on going back every year. Great place and I will recommend it to... More

A brightly painted, hand crafted vision that immediately delights your senses as you round the corner to the resort. Each day I found hidden treasures that made me smile.Such an amazing variety of bird life and wildlife to entertain you each day as well. Warm heated floor lodgings with cosy bedding always clean(thanks Stacey ), warm fires in the evening,... More

I have been a cold water diver for 32 years. I have also been to many exotic destinations (Great Barrier Reef, Red Sea, Belize, Papau New Guinea, Fiji, Mexico) and I spend about half of the year diving close to home in my dry suit (Pacific Northwest). I have been trying to get to God's Pocket for the last decade.... More

If you want to experience some of the best cold-water diving in the world, then Browning Pass, located off the northern tip of Vancouver Island, BC, is a must. After doing some research (there isn't really too many options to dive Browning Pass), I quickly chose God's Pocket because of the comfortable, charming accommodations and the fact the dive boat... Spent an amazing week here kayaking with Sea Kayak Adventures - words cannot capture the experience. God's Pocket is a gem of a boat only resort, located in a provincial park of the same name. Charming, welcoming, very well maintained and spotlessly clean, it reflects the loving attention of its owners and staff. So friendly and down to earth, they... More

We spent a week diving at God's Pocket, and it was a treat. Very comfortable resort, and the dive boat is very nice. A lift to get back on board! While the viz was not up to its usual clarity, the diving was quite nice. Lots of marine life, and the dive at Turret Rock in Nakwakto Rapids was excellent.... More

I had the pleasure of FINALLY diving with Gods Pocket. Everything you've heard is true. Awesome resort, people and come on.... a dive boat with an elevator!!!! It does not get better than that. The life on Browning wall defies description. There is so much that the rock face is not visible. This is a must dive location for the... More

The owners of God's Pocket, Bill and Annie, make the trip safe and enjoyable from the moment they pick you up in Port Hardy, BC throughout your entire stay. Maybe it is the amazing quantity and quality of underwater life in the Browning Wall Pass area, the homey feeling of the rooms, club house, and the dining room, or the... More
