What a pleasure it was to stay here, shame that we only had one night as very very comfortable bed in a very nice room with everything that you could possibly need in it. To top it all James and Susan are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet, it was like having breakfast with 2 friends... more

We stayed at the Orange Tabby for 1-night after a long drive up from Tofino as we were catching a ferry to Bella Cool the following day. James greeted us with a welcome glass of wine and nibbles. The room was very comfortable and quiet but despite a full days driving we were straight back in the car after James... more

Arrived tired from our drive. Host offered us a seat in the back garden. Served a good white one. Accommodation was excellent, modern and clean. Left for the ferry at 05:20 hrs. Host supplied us with a boxed breakfast, which included a hot coffee. We ate it with great enjoyment while we were waiting to board the ferry. Highly recommended.... more

Susan and James were very helpful with information and offered the best and most generous breakfast I had on my trip to Vancouver Island. Their hospitality was unparalelled. more

Many people go to Port Hardy because of the ferry connection with Prince Rupert, and the hosts at Orange Tabby deal cheerfully with all the late arrivals and early departures that entails. As with so many places, it is the hosts who make a B&B, and this is no exception: collections of photos of local bears and other wild-life, and... more

James and Susan have done an excellent job of creating a wonderful B&B - our room was nicely decorated, very clean & comfortable, and all very new looking. It was also very quiet. They are extremely helpful and friendly hosts, and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful! We stayed for two nights following the ferry trip down from Prince Rupert.... more

The B&B was very easy to find; very good location ,walking distance to the harbour, shopping and restaurants, with ample parking for vehicles. James and Susan were very warm and welcoming, the bedroom and ensuite bathroom were spotless and spacious, the bed was very comfortable; the accomodation really was perfect. James is a great cook; the breakfasts were very tasty... more

The Orange tabby was a real treat. Sadly we only stayed one night here as we were departing very early the next morning to take the ferry south. The owners greeted us with wine and pretzels which was a lovely touch and showed us to our room which was excellent on all counts. Clean, modern, tastefully decorated and with everything... more

We spent two nights in Port Hardy in Orange Tabby B&B. We travelled around BC for three weeks and this place was one of the best we stayed in. The room was cozy and the house is close to the sea. We had our fantastic breakfasts with our hosts, Susan and James and their doggy :). They were the best... more
