This is the second time here and both times in the winter and we love it.we was in our own caravan and the hard standing ground location was great. We had an evening meal in the pub and it was great especially the steak pie as it was packed with steak and accom with homemade chips,The beer is not bad... More

Stayed in a yurt with a heater, not that you'd know it had a heater as the lack of insulation meant it was still practically like sleeping outside- not fun when it's snowing outside. So £40 a night for a freezing cold shed seemed a bit excessive- when complained was told that they were perfectly justified for charging this much... More

This lady booked as part of a group - but over the internet. The bookings were under different names, so we had no inkling it was a group until they arrived. As luck would have it, the computer allocated the reviewer a Yurt away from her friends, so she came to reception and asked to be moved to an empty... More

I would just like to say how great this campsite really is. Me, my partner and the dog stayed in a Pod and my parents stayed in the B&B. Reception - helpful as ever - even when we wanted to change to another preferred pod that we had stayed in before - no problem at all :-) Toilet block -... More

We stayed for a week and we enjoyed our stay, as the staff where friendly and the site was clean. The showers, toilets ect where all together and easy to access, it was very smart however the CCTV made us feel uncomftorble. The only down points was being under the cliff. Because we hada few problems with falling sheep! We... More

We as a family of 4 stayed here for 1 week. The site is beautiful and relaxing. There was an 11 o'clock rule that was obeyed. The site is clean and tidy with the pitches clearly marked out. It's in the heart if the Peak District and the only noise you will find is the birds. The toilets were heated... More

Just got back home a day earlier than planned. We are a young family with a dog staying on touring pitch. The pitches are quite small once awning has been set up and the electric hook up was faulty to has to plug into next door. There was a tiny park which had two swings. Not very much to keep... More

My partner and I stayed at Riverdale a couple of weekends ago. It was a very belated birthday present and although the weather wasn't great, we had a lovely time staying in one of the pods. The site is very clean and well equipped with a really nice little bar and overall great facilities. It was the first time we... More

Thank you for your review. I am pleased you liked the park and the benefits of the camping Pods - and express my sincere apologies for the abysmal service you experienced in the café. Unfortunately we had staff off sick and the staff cover left a lot to be desired. I am surprised at your comments about the prices though... More
