The Beechenhill Farm is a fantastic place - it's secluded and has stunning views. We decided to stay in the Cottage just because we needed some space and quiet and we got what we wanted. We were welcomed by Terry who showed us to the Cottage and told us a bit about the farm. We were welcomed with cosy and... More

Just back from our stay in the Cottage by the (dryish) Pond. High on the hill so panoramic views dramatic and visible from a comfy sitting room seat as well as outside the property - important if you may spend a lot of time on-site. Even watching the mist rise and fall was fun! Being on a working farm adjacent... More

We've just returned from a very relaxing mid-week break at the beautiful Beechenhill Farm. We stayed in the Cottage which sleeps 2 which is private and surrounded by wonderful views!. The cottage is cosy and snug and has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed day trips out in the Peak District, great local pubs and stargazing on the patio... More

My husband and I travelled to Derbyshire this weekend for a wedding, we found Beechenhill on T.A and couldn't wait to get there. After a 4.5 hr drive we arrived to be greeted by smiley faces (despite the fact that it was very late) and a lovely room. The setting (which we didn't see until daylight the next morning) was... Enjoyed our midweek stay very much .cottage is set in beautiful surroundings in an excellent location. Although exposed to both stunning scenery and high up views the cottage is quiet and well sealed from the elements. In the private patio garden we enjoyed alcohol and peanuts whilst watching the sun set.... Comfortable retreat with very good facilities throughout the cottage .... More

I love this place, all the details, the family who runs it are caring, pay attention to detail & also leave you to do your own thing yet are always there to help too. The scenery is gorgeous and the farm milk the best in England!

We've just returned from a long weekend at Beechenhill Farm, staying in the double B&B room. The great thing about returning is that you know it won't disappoint. We are running out of superlatives for Beechenhill. The room is gorgeous and the breakfast is amazing (lovely creamy porridge, fantastic compote (thanks Sue!), and the best eggs we've ever tasted. Even... More

Just returned from an amazing few days at Beechenhill Farm as B&B guests. My Sister, her 2 grandchildren and me stayed in the extremley comfortable family room. Refreshment tray with homemade shortbread every day, a welcome after a long day out. The organic homemade porridge was the best we have tasted, even the kids loved it. A very tasty cooked... More

Myself, my partner and our three children stayed in the self-catering 'Cottage by the pond' for our summer holiday this year. The farm and our accommodation was picture perfect. We all enjoyed chilling, playing with the dogs, exploring, board games in the lounge, chatting with Alex, Terry and Sue, watching milking, exploring the substantial farm paths and collecting eggs (kids)... My husband and I spent three nights at Beechenhill Farm and it lived up to our (very picky) expectations. We stayed in the double room, which has a very comfortable bed, and a lovely ensuite with rainfall shower. In the room there was a small seating area where we could read with a cup of tea (made with the farm's... More
