Cannot speak highly enough of our visit to Beechenhill .We had the family room which was very spacious beds were super comfy, views were incredible and not forgetting the homemade shortbread every day delicious. Super cooked breakfast every day especially the porridge made by Rob! The hospitality was second to none and we were given lots of very helpful information... More

From the moment we arrived, amongst stunning scenery, we spotted that this was a really special place to stay. A message welcoming us was in the yard; a freshly baked and beautifully presented cake was awaiting us in the cottage alongside tea bags, coffee, milk etc.; the cottage was full of beautiful and creative finishing touches and that is before... The cottage was well equipped and have everything anyone could possibly need to enjoy a visit. Owners are friendly, views and area great for all ages. Once visited you will want to go again. Our two boys enjoyed exploring the farm, watching the cows being milked and generally being boys.

Just come back from 3 day Easter stay at Beechenhill farm. Loved the whole experience. Terry, Sue, Alex and Robb, were very friendly and helpful. Loved watching the milking of the cows and the beautiful Peak Park walks, including Dovedale. And eat too much wonderful food for breakfast.

Great place to stay. We had a lovely weekend with plenty of activities for all ages. We also ordered very good food from the farm, I will definitely recommend it. There are lots of walks to do in the area.

We desperately needed some time away after a few hectic months. This cottage was the perfect choice. We arrived in the dark, after having lost our way! But a quick phone call to the farm and we were given instructions as to where to go. Beautiful, compact cottage. Well stocked kitchen and the MOST comfortable bed. We had pre-ordered milk,... More

Booked three nights in the small cottage for two (plus baby). Although very much part of the complex of farm house and buildings, the cottage feels quite secluded with its own lovely private aspect over fields. It is very petite (two rooms plus a bathroom) but ample for a short stay, and in the summer you'd be able to spread... More

It was our first visit to the Peak District and we were won over by the scenery through Dovedale and Ilam before even arriving at Beechenhill! The cottage by the pond was perfect for us and very cosy and comfortable. We had snow which added to the children's enjoyment and they loved collecting eggs from the chickens and watching the... Great location, accommodation was excellent with a kitchen well stocked with anything you could throw at it. The owners were very helpful, gave good advice and were very welcoming. Cottage felt very secluded despite the fact it was right on the farm.

We enjoyed our summer stay 2014 at Beechenhill so much we were confident our choice to spend Christmas there was a good one. Again a fantastic stay, the weather and temperature were certainly different but the welcome and tranquillity were uncompromised. The landscape was equally beautiful especially as we had a lot of snow as opposed to a very hot... More
