We've just returned from a long weekend at Beechenhill Farm, staying in the double B&B room. The great thing about returning is that you know it won't disappoint. We are running out of superlatives for Beechenhill. The room is gorgeous and the breakfast is amazing (lovely creamy porridge, fantastic compote (thanks Sue!), and the best eggs we've ever tasted. Even... More

Just returned from an amazing few days at Beechenhill Farm as B&B guests. My Sister, her 2 grandchildren and me stayed in the extremley comfortable family room. Refreshment tray with homemade shortbread every day, a welcome after a long day out. The organic homemade porridge was the best we have tasted, even the kids loved it. A very tasty cooked... More

Myself, my partner and our three children stayed in the self-catering 'Cottage by the pond' for our summer holiday this year. The farm and our accommodation was picture perfect. We all enjoyed chilling, playing with the dogs, exploring, board games in the lounge, chatting with Alex, Terry and Sue, watching milking, exploring the substantial farm paths and collecting eggs (kids)... My husband and I spent three nights at Beechenhill Farm and it lived up to our (very picky) expectations. We stayed in the double room, which has a very comfortable bed, and a lovely ensuite with rainfall shower. In the room there was a small seating area where we could read with a cup of tea (made with the farm's... More

The setting and location couldn't be better with amazing walks A tip, ask for Terry's porridge as a "take away breakfast", it's simply the best porridge I've ever tasted and should... More

Lovely place ...dropped in to charge up our electric car at their charge point and appreciated the warm friendly reception on a cold wet day! Very grateful for the facility that enables us to visit the Dales in the dales in the car ......charge points are still very few and far between!

All the other reviews are real! This is a fantastic choice for a rural stay. We (3 adults, 2 children) stayed in the Cottage by the Pond for four nights in mid-July. We drove up to find a welcoming sign on a board by our cottage, and Alex to welcome us and show us around. Absolutely delicious chocolate cake as... More

We were lucky enough to hold our small wedding ceremony and 'Sports Day' themed afternoon party at Beechenhill Farm together with a small group of family and friends. The Haybarn itself is just lovely: quiet, charming, light and airy. Just delightful. The cottage we stayed in was perfect for what we wanted, secluded and out of the way, but with... More
