We last visited Le Presbytiere five years ago for a family get together, and it was perfect. We returned in May this year and it was even better! Lovely, comfortable bed that completely counteracted jet lag, and breakfasts and dinners to die for.

I have just finished a 5 day cookery course under the expert tutelage of Former Irish Euro Toque President and brilliant Chef Martin Dwyer in Le Presbytere. My other half joined me and enjoyed rambling locally while I was in the kitchen with Martin. We both had a wonderful holiday but the cookery course in particular was just fantastic. Lots... More

Le Presbytere is a treasure of a Bed and Breakfast with optional Table D'hote, however for the second time I took advantage of their personalized walking holidays, which are offered every Spring and Autumn. As if the lovely welcome and total cosseting from Marting an Sile were not enough to entice you to come, there is also the additional delight... More

This was our second visit together with friends to Le Presbytere to celebrate a birthday. Needless to say everything was perfect on both occasions. Martin and Sile are superb hosts and make you instantly feel at home. The period house and bedrooms are all sensitively restored yet with all modern conveniences and a superb balcony at the rear overlooking the... More

We visited Le Presbytere to celebrate a friends birthday in style over a 2 night weekend. Sheila and Martin make you feel instantly at home with their Irish charm and interesting conversation. The dinner in the evening is a fabulous 5 star standard meal served on a balcony overlooking the village and the wonderful countryside close by. We can't wait... More

Le Presbytère is approached via spiralling narrow streets up to the top of the beautiful old village of Thézan-lès-Béziers. Stepping down into the hall we were greeted by Martin and Síle who made us feel at as home as if we were old friends. Straight out to the vine-covered terrace for drinks, a wonderful south facing terrace with a broad... More

Martin and Sile run an outstanding chambre d'hote and table d'hote in the heart of the Languedoc region. My parents and I spent 5 wonderful nights in very comfortable, tastefully decorated rooms overlooking the picturesque Orb valley. A stay in Le Presbytere is good for mind and body. The house itself is full of character and is decorated with flair... More

I am delighted to recommend highly the house and cooking of Martin and Sile. The house itself is very old, authentic and very comfortable. The front is on the street, the back is in the countryside. In this house you will be very well taken care of. Family and guests eat at the same table. The dining whilst informal is... More

We're a couple who like to explore a bit on holiday, and we stayed at Le Presbytere for 9 nights in July. It was a great experience. Martin and Sile provided accommodation that has both comfort and character, with every convenience for guests. We had a delicious breakfast every morning on their terrace, with views of vines and rooftops and... More

As a family of four we had a splendid meal on the gorgeous terrace at Le Presbytere. Along with other guests, we tasted the most exquisite food made and served by Martin (a real master chef) and Sheila - a lovely couple from Waterford, Ireland. Martin's experience in running a successful restaurant means that guests are in for a real... More
