Lovely food, great atmosphere and wonderful location. Loved it on a cold winter's day looking outside on to the Weir but imagine it would be even better in the summer to sit outside and enjoy lunch. A man pulled up on his barge having already ordered his lunch and then headed off on to the water to enjoy it!

Ok - its in a great location next to the Thames Path and has good inside space and outside space near the Thames . Good mix on the blackboard of dishes and several real ales . Downside , its rundown inside , furniture , decoration ,toilets - expression "seems better days" sums it up. Like a previous comment we certain... More

We visited this pub for Sunday lunch today, walking along the tow path from their home. It is well situated and clearly popular among locals, leisure walkers and cyclists. The interior is a bit run down but clean and comfortable, there are plenty of tables outside too. The website claims they provide the best roast ever; it isn't that good!... More

This pub has fond memories of childhood bike rides along the tow path and later years as a teen socialising with friends, although I no longer live in the area this is a lovely place for a drink in the summer, be it lunchtime or those lovely summer evenings on family reunions.

Stumbled upon this pub on a bike ride along the river. Food was very reasonably priced and of a good quality and the staff were very friendly. They even provided bike racks for push bikes and there was plenty of seating.

Dog friendly which was the main factor of going, bar staff friendly enough. Food did seen to take a very long time as was only chips and onion rings, and food was very expensive. Otherwise ok. Toilet could do with a touch of paint/ better lighting.

We stayed here last night and we were both pleasantly surprised by the size and quirkiness of our room, the huge bed was wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Although not the most modern of decor we at once felt comfortable in our surroundings. Will definitely come here again as the only minor disappointment was no toast with our... More

Visited while out on a Thames walk from Hampton. Sat at a nice outside table in the adult area overlooking the river. The table itself had seen better days. The staff were friendly and efficient. The BLT baguette was excellent. I asked for crispy bacon and got it. The beer was good. Will certainly revisit when next passing.

Literally never come across ruder hotel/pub staff. I was making enquiries in reference to a large party I was interested in holding at The Weir (only because I liked the outside bit, the inside is simply a stuffy old mans grubby pub with extremely dated decor) Simply asked if there was an option to provide my own buffet and got...
