I met some friends here for lunch. We all had baguettes, but there were plenty of other choices. They all came with a good helping of crisps and a varied side salad; I had bacon and brie, absolutely delicious! We were all very satisfied. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Plenty of car parking, although this might be a problem on... More

We stayed here for one night in February and appeared to be the only guests in the accomodation. The room was quite small, but manageable, however the decor was tired and the room felt like it needed some TLC. Having said that, the bed was comfortable enough which is the main thing! The room had a wonderful view over the... More

Nice friendly pub - had a beer and a light meal, nice old pub style//atmosphere inside, some small nooks for seating with river views, outside seating would be nice in milder weather. Even though very busy service was good.

We didnt experience the Hotel as accomadation, we only dined in the restuarant. We visited here as a spare of the moment idea, as my family had visited here a few years ago. It is a beautiful setting for the restauarant to be in, with the ducks and the fact that you are able to take dogs into the property... More

Lovely food, great atmosphere and wonderful location. Loved it on a cold winter's day looking outside on to the Weir but imagine it would be even better in the summer to sit outside and enjoy lunch. A man pulled up on his barge having already ordered his lunch and then headed off on to the water to enjoy it!

Ok - its in a great location next to the Thames Path and has good inside space and outside space near the Thames . Good mix on the blackboard of dishes and several real ales . Downside , its rundown inside , furniture , decoration ,toilets - expression "seems better days" sums it up. Like a previous comment we certain... More

We visited this pub for Sunday lunch today, walking along the tow path from their home. It is well situated and clearly popular among locals, leisure walkers and cyclists. The interior is a bit run down but clean and comfortable, there are plenty of tables outside too. The website claims they provide the best roast ever; it isn't that good!... More

This pub has fond memories of childhood bike rides along the tow path and later years as a teen socialising with friends, although I no longer live in the area this is a lovely place for a drink in the summer, be it lunchtime or those lovely summer evenings on family reunions.

Stumbled upon this pub on a bike ride along the river. Food was very reasonably priced and of a good quality and the staff were very friendly. They even provided bike racks for push bikes and there was plenty of seating.
