We stayed one night en route to the Dordogne. The chateau is well kept and maintained and the owners who by now will have sold and moved on were very hospitable. We stayed in the turret bedroom which was great. Breakfast was communal and very enjoyable. The chateau is worth staying at and I hope the new owners are as... More

We stayed at the chateau only for one evening, and it was great. Our room was not among the best ones, but good enough. The owners were very nice, the breakfast makes you feeling at home, and their garden is amazing!

We stayed here in the way down to Bordeaux for a family holiday. The Chateau is a real WOW experience - it truly is stunning with beautiful gardens. The owners Jean-Marie & his wife Marie are excellent hosts and could not do enough for us during our stay. Marie served a fabulous home cooked evening meal for us whilst Jean-Marie... More

We stayed in one of the three chamber d'hôte properties on the grounds of this lovely 15th century castle and couldn't recommend it enough: the owners Jean-Marie and Marie-Andrée are a phenomenally interesting, generous and charming couple who have lovingly restored the surrounding buildings and developed beautiful gardens on the grounds. The castle itself is fantastic, imbued with their personalities... More

We had a great time. our hosts were very welcoming (cold beer on arrival!). The castle is amazing. The swimming pool was refreshing. Breakfast was terrific. Continental - but loads of choice. What more can you ask for?

A once in a life time experience to stay in an authentic 600 year old mediaeval castle that is beautifully maintained with beautiful gardens. Also part of the experience is a great French breakfast lovingly served by the hosts.

As we drove up to the chateau we were welcomed by Jean-Marie as soon as we got out of the car. Shown to a large well furnished (with antiques) room. We walked the huge vegetable garden before an aperitif (white wine and violet liqueur for me) and amuse bouches. Marie-Andree served a very good dinner with copious wine - tasty,... More

A beautiful Chateau and extremely well kept. The owners are very attentive and speak excellent English. Our room was large and very clean with a good bathroom. (The bathrooms could probably do with a bit of an upgrade). Tea and coffee making facilities and fridge on the communal landing. A very quiet place with amazing views and lovely gardens. There... We stayed one night and what a great start to our holiday. We had a medieval bedroom in a turret, Geoffroy du Bec. We dined in with the other guests and Marie Andree's food was excellent. Jean Marie was the perfect host, he met us on arrival and could not have been more friendly and welcoming.
