A bit of luxury for the last night of our motorbike tour of the Pyrenees! Chateau looks very spectacular as you approach from the road. Tight turn into a gravel driveway would be a breeze for cars but I'm a bit of a wuss on my motorbike on gravel so I was a little stranded until hubby came to my... More

We stayed over for one night on our way from Amsterdam to Biarritz. It was perfect. It is not just a hotel, its a real castle, where people live in, with 5 rooms for guests. Actually you're lodging in with the castle owner. Dinner is table d'hôte which means that you'll dine next to the other guests. If you wanne... More

All I want to say here is everything was lovely..Wonderful staff and facilities. This is a wonderful place to stop and really feel the history and beauty of the French countryside, We really recommend it, After a unfortunate experience in a nearby Chateau we recovered our love of France and its history here. This is a beautifully restored Chateau with... More

We stayed at the Chateau on our way to Spain. I discovered it on Tripadvisor and it looked most attractive. It more than exceeded our expectations. Our hosts Marie-Andree and Jean-Marie could not be more charming and welcoming, the Chateau has been returned to its former glory thanks to their dedication and hard work but incorporates all the requirement to... Beautiful castle, warm welcome and attentive hosting throughout our stay. Jean-Marie is a font of interesting information concerning his historic home. Our room was large, thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. Jean-Marie's wife Marie-Andree and their daughter provided us with an excellent 4 course meal, much of which was sourced from the castle's beautiful garden. All in all a great experience and very... We stopped over night 25th April to celebrate hubby's 60th birthday. Fantastic hosts & guests at the dinner table - we ate we drank & became very merry! Interesting hosts with a superb knowledge of the chateau. The rooms were unbelievable - definitely a trip into history sleeping in a four poster bed.

From reading other reviews I thought it may be too good to be true. Not at all. We have stayed in chateaux before which are cold, dark & not very inviting. This was completely the opposite. We stayed in the Isabella room which was amazing, with the most amazingly big bed. Sheer heaven. We also dined with the owners &... More

We stayed here on our honeymoon last April. I thought I had written a review back then but just noticed that it was never been uploaded so felt the need to ensure that a review was posted as our stay here was absolutely fabulous. Jean-Marie and Marie-Andreé are such wonderful hosts. Their passion and love for the Chateau and opening... More

My husband and I stayed here along with our 2 young daughters (1 and 7) whilst driving down to the South of France, and I am so pleased we did. The chatueau itself is beautiful, with turret and winding staircases, huge windows and shutters and grounds like something from a fairytale. Our eldest was speechless, and her eyes just lit... More
