This is an amazing place to stay!! We stayed 1 night here as a pit stop on our way to Lisbon but would have been happy to take a full holiday here. The host, Alison, is the best host you could hope for, she is soooo welcoming & friendly. We arrived at approx 6:30 & it was fairly cool so... More

We had a lovely night here, having arrived on bikes. Alison goes to a lot of effort to make sure guests are comfortable and introduces people to eachother which was good since we ate with other guests from Germany and Italy. A delicious four course meal was made on the night on request with local cheeses. The house itself is... More

We arrived tired and hot after a long day of cycling to a wonderful warm welcome by Alison to her beautiful secluded home, we were made feel so welcome from the minute we arrived and were soon relaxing by the pool with cold drinks .We ate al fresco on Goats cheese, Pork, Excellent Cheese board, Summer berries with lots of... Perfect place to stop off for a mini break but would do for a full holiday. Lovely location, great pool, wonderful friendly owners and amazing food, especially the dinners had around the biggest table you have ever seen. We were there with some very nice interesting other guests and we all had dinner together. Our children loved it, especially diving... More

We set off early in the morning from south Brittany, my wife and I and guide dog Dixy. A great welcome right from the start and having put our bags in our very comfortable bedroom, a welcome cup of tea awaited us and convivial conversation followed. The evening meal and wine was absolutely delicious and following a good nights sleep... More

Arriving for a literary retreat, we were welcomed warmly to a beautiful Chambres D'Hote run by Alison Crewdson and her family. The content of the Literary Retreat was organised and run by the exciting new novelist, Nick Quentin Woolf, whose radio podcast on London life is already known by many. The combination of the excellent venue, delicious home cooking, warm... More

We were greeted by the friendly owner, Alison who was keen to ensure that we were at ease and comfortable. Once settled by the pool beer and wine were gratefully received. There are 4 en suite rooms, all decorated in different styles. Dinner was served to ourselves and a French couple as we sat around a King Arthur sized dining... More

This was one of the best chambres d'hotes we have ever stayed in. We were thoroughly spoilt by Alison and her family, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed good breakfasts and very special suppers shared with other guests around the huge table. A good sized pool to cool down in and very relaxing surroundings. We would love to go... More

Once again we return to La Tuilerie for the 6th year running and bringing our family with us for the first time....We are never disappointed with the welcome, the service and the very clean rooms, the dinners were fantastic as usual and the company with the French and English guests provided for a lovely evening around the enormous dining table.... Thank you so much for your fabulous hospitality. We enjoyed every second of our stay with you. The food (both Breakfast and Dinner) was amazing, sitting around the pool with the wine flowing is definitely something I will remember. The room was awesome and we look forward to returning....especially Jenna! It was lovely to meet you and your wonderful family... More
