We stayed with Peter and Vincent for two nights. I was specifically looking for somewhere that would be right for my teenaged daughter, myself and my father in his very late seventies. Peter and Vincent couldn't have been friendlier or indeed more charming and we left feeling that it was the right choice even though it was not the closest... More

We stayed with Peter and Vincent on our way to and from Normandy and were delighted with our choice. Friendly welcome, even discounting the fact that Peter is also from Suffolk! Food was delicious and plentiful. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom a little on the small side and, unusually, open plan - an interesting use of a smallish space. Peter's... More

We booked to stay 4 nights with Peter and Vincent, and found plenty to fill our days in the area. Evening meals were lovely, served dinner party style. Comfortable beds, quiet location and like-minded hosts - interested in gardens and plants, architecture, green living etc. Peter and Vincent are unstinting in the time they give to their guests. We got... More

Enjoyed 2 nights here with my wife at the beginning of April 2013 as part of a 5 week trip around Europe. Peter and Vincent are excellent hosts and have developed a very nice relaxed home in a new unique building out in the countryside with their own animals and gardens where they grow their own produce. It is ideally... More

This has been a great stay on our way to Normandy. Although we had planned to be there at 8pm, we arrived around 11pm, and nevertheless got an excellent meal (I would not have waited myself if I had been the owner of the place!) ! The day after we again were late for breakfast, and it was served with... More

We recently spent 2 nights at Les Mazures. Peter and Vincent were wonderful, informative and helpful hosts. The food was home made and of excellent quality - breakfasts to die for. The evening meal option was beautifully cooked and great value for money and it was lovely to eat with Peter, Vincent and the other guests. The room was modern,... More

This was our second stay at Les Mazures and it was like coming home to friends. They even remembered my girlfriend is vegetarian. Les Mazures is a very new building that was constructed for the purpose of turning it into a B&B. The architecture is somewhat strange but it was conceived this way to be eco-friendly, a commitment the owners... More

We booked rooms in the middle of October, just as overnight on the long way to Paris. I spent a few hours in the internet to find something interesting in French countryside to take a rest before we will reach metropolis and finally I found Les Mazures. The booking system was really quick through emails with owners, they speak English fluently so... More
