It's a functional Citizen M. Pod rooms with everything you need for a few hours sleep and giant tulips on the wall :) staff extremely friendly upon check in - nice considering it was late at night when I checked in and very early when I checked out - no surly night staff! Please note this hotel is within the... More

Had it not been for the construction within the airport or hotel which stopped at 11:30 pm and commenced the next morning at 7:30 am our one night stand would have been a perfect one. The staff promised to end the power hammer drilling at 9:00 pm (the time we voiced our concern) albeit without much success. Since check-out time... More

On this latest (of many trips into Eurozone via AMS Schiphol Airport) I opted to connect from Zurich late on Thursday and catch the morning flight home first thing in the AM. The only problem with first thing in the AM flights is risk of missing the wake-up, unexpected lines at airport check-in or security, or any number of things... More

Needed a stop over for an early flight transfer. This was so easy its worth the extra you pay for the small room. A bit like a cabin on a ferry no window but clean and comfortable. Every airport should have one of these. Would use it again.

I have stayed at this transit hotel a few times over the past years and for me it is one of the best features of Schiphol Airport (a fine airport, but this is icing on the cake). When I was there last, in early June 2011, the hotel had just re-opened after a full refurbishment. The changes were mainly better... More

Fancy decorated, but bad quality. Shower head lose etc. Enough space. No windows. But really nasty are the "white stains" on carpet and hairs in bathroom... Disgusting. Expensive overall. Still hotel comes in handy for travelers due to location (which is in fact a bit cumbersome if coming from NL into schiphol: go to departures terminal 3, enter customs with... More

Beware when giving a wake up call at this hotel. The staff completely forgot to phone me at 5.45 am for me to catch my flight ????? If I hadn't had such a restless night and been awake most of the night, I would have definitely missed the flight due to their neglect. This is an airport hotel where the... More

We (2 adults, 2 children, 1 baby) booked the Mercure at Schiphol because we had a stop over in Amsterdam, arriving at 10pm, while our connection flight would only depart at 8am the next morning. The hotel is conveniently located in the Airport terminal, after customs, security and immigration. The price is slightly high, however, only slightly more that the... More
