I've stayed here many times, and this is your best choice in the International Lounge. Its clean and quiet. It's not cheap, but it's cheaper and MUCH better than the other choice at the airport, Yotel (which is cramped, smelly and stuffy. Don't stay there!) If you have a layover at Schipol, this is your best and most convenient choice.

I stayed here when I had a long layover between flights. Small but very clean and comfortable room. It was so nice to have a shower and sleep after a long flight. It was a bit expensive having to book a night and day room.

Booked this hotel as we had an very early morning flight. The pros of staying here are that is in the airport. The room was very clean and utilitarian for that purpose. The staff there, from front desk to housekeeping were extremely friendly and helpful. The downside is that is is on the other side of customs. If you have... More

For an airport hotel, Mercure Schiphol is a blessing. Located right opposite the KLM lounge, it is easy to find. It is ideally located within the transit area close to restaurants and electronics stores. For the exhausted traveller, this hotel is a haven for the level of comfort it offers. I have been staying at the Mercure every time I... More

I used the facilities at the Mercure when I arrived from the US. For 15 Euros, one gets access to a private bathroom (shower, sink, toilet), which really helps to wake you up and be somewhat productive for the day. They had numerous bathrooms and there was no waiting when I got there at about 10:30am. I have heard there... More

I agree totally with pwelch's assessment. I have previously used the YOTEL but thought that the name Mercure implied a more up market Accor hotel of the type associated with that brand name. It didn't. Instead I got a room which served its purpose but offered no more... a list of facilities in which the English version was so faint... More

I booked a single room for around 80€ on booking.com and my card was charged on arrival. Found my room, it was a single and really so much smaller than I had imagined in the photographs. In fact I wish I'd opted for the Yotel, which is a bit cheaper, but at least advertises the fact that the rooms are... More

This hotel is located IN the airport (not nearby, IN). Pros: The location of the hotel is extremely convenient if you have an early flight or have a bunch of hours to kill between flights and need a place to catch some sleep. The rooms are a decent size. Cons: Despite being a non-smoking hotel, there was definitely a strong... More

This hotel is primarily convenience. Staff is nice and the rooms are ok, although a bit weird. Cheap furniture and no windows (which is not really strange as you are in the middle of the airport). So if you close your eyes this place is pretty ok and that's exactly what you're supposed to do when you rent a room... More

We had an 8 hr layover and needed a place to rest without the hassle of leaving the airport. This hotel was perfect for us. We lucked out and got the last room available. I would highly recommend making a reservation; while we were checking in, other travelers came by and were turned away. It was clean and comfortable. The... More
