What a delightful place. We stayed overnight and couldn't fault it. Beautiful setting, quiet, lovely gardens, gorgeous room and outlook, clean, comfortable, friendly, and breakfast was superb, on a bright sunny morning with the doors open so you hear and see the wildlife. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area again, usually about once a year.

On entering from the main road, you are immediately taken by the well manicured sweeping driveway which opens onto a secluded gravel courtyard. I like to hear gravel under the tyres at any hotel or B&B, it always fills me with anticipation as to what awaits inside, we weren't disappointed. David greeted us in the hallway, which was larger than... More

Dear Alan, Lindsay, Jim and Steph, Thank you so much for your very kind words. We both feel it is absolutely fantastic that people enjoy our home as much as we do. We hope to see you all again soon - perhaps in the next week or two when our home grown tomatoes come on stream in the greenhouses? Best... More

My husband & I stayed at Pointers for 1 night. Our room was beautiful with lovely view over the garden. Would definitely stay again if in the area. The breakfast was good & many choices. Recommended especially for those who enjoy birds & wildlife

Thank you so much for your very kind words. We both work very hard to welcome guests into our home and appreciate it when our efforts are recognised. The answer to your mystery bird question is that it was almost certainly one of the two cock Bullfinches we currently have nesting in our grounds. We look forward to seeing you... More

One of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few. A touch isolated but it is that which helps this guest house stand out. Beautifully landscaped grounds provided a very pleasant view from our room. My wife and I stayed one night here with relations. Everything was immaculately clean. Dave and... More

Friendly welcome, well-appointed rooms and a good breakfast. Quiet and discreet location - striking distance to Ely and St. Ives (Cambridge a little further). Lovely villages and countryside. Only one-night stay wished it was longer. Could not recommend it higher, many thanks!!!

One of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in. Stayed one night with my girlfriend and 2 year old daughter in the family room, everything was immaculately clean and the owners made us all feel very welcome. The breakfast was outstanding and if I stay in the area again I will definitely make Pointers guest house top of... More

A lovely warm welcome with an ideal, spacious family room with three single beds. Luxurious bathroom close by. Our hosts were very accommodating making a lovely midweek girly shopping break very special. Excellent breakfasts (made-to-measure) and lots of helpful local information.

A weekend with nasty weather was improved by really helpful attitude of owners - very helpful with bike storage and restaurant advice. Good breakfast. Not the easiest place to spot when driving because it's a long way back - but that keeps it really peaceful.

Myself, husband, our 2 year old & 7 week old stayed here for one night en route from Wrest Park to Hunstanton. We had a lovely spacious family room, with private bathroom just over the corridor. This is immaculate accomodation, which is part of their home. The bathroom had a separate bath & large shower, ideal for a family and... More
