This guest house is run by an older couple who turned this farm house into a nice and charming guest house. They are friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome at this place. The family room was sizeable; it consisted of two linked rooms, both with large double beds that were very comfortable. Breakfast was good as well. The... More

Our stay at Pointers has been excellent. The rooms are a credit to David and Eileen; clean and well presented. Breakfast can only be classed as brilliant, very nicely presented. The area is outstanding and David is first rate for information about the area. We used the park and ride guided bus to reach Cambridge, which was a very good... More

It was almost like staying with family relatives. Staying in a welcoming home with everything provided. Bathroom (private but separate from room) equipped with large bottles of hand lotion, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner, lovely white towels, make up mirror, cotton wall balls, other little toiletries. We stayed in what I presume was the 'Poppy room' which is a family... More

Pointers Guest House offers complete rest and comfort in a rural setting. The twin room we had overlooked the beautiful, well-kept garden and was very spacious, clean and well-equipped. We had a warm welcome by the owner. Everything was to our satisfaction during our 2 nights' stay: a very tasty breakfast with fresh fruit from the orchard, an owner who... More

Kristien, Thank you for your kind words. We do not regard ourselves as just providing a bed for the night - rather an experience that includes tranquility, comfort and space with a little touch of luxury in which to enjoy it. Best wishes, Eileen. More

What a delightful place. We stayed overnight and couldn't fault it. Beautiful setting, quiet, lovely gardens, gorgeous room and outlook, clean, comfortable, friendly, and breakfast was superb, on a bright sunny morning with the doors open so you hear and see the wildlife. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area again, usually about once a year.

It is a bit of a joke in Cambridgeshire as the landscape is quite flat, but we do actually live right on top of a hill - all of 240 feet above sea level! The result is a fantastic view in every direction from our farm house and, on the right evenings, the most amazing sunsets you could ever wish... More

On entering from the main road, you are immediately taken by the well manicured sweeping driveway which opens onto a secluded gravel courtyard. I like to hear gravel under the tyres at any hotel or B&B, it always fills me with anticipation as to what awaits inside, we weren't disappointed. David greeted us in the hallway, which was larger than... More

Dear Alan, Lindsay, Jim and Steph, Thank you so much for your very kind words. We both feel it is absolutely fantastic that people enjoy our home as much as we do. We hope to see you all again soon - perhaps in the next week or two when our home grown tomatoes come on stream in the greenhouses? Best... More

My husband & I stayed at Pointers for 1 night. Our room was beautiful with lovely view over the garden. Would definitely stay again if in the area. The breakfast was good & many choices. Recommended especially for those who enjoy birds & wildlife

Thank you so much for your very kind words. We both work very hard to welcome guests into our home and appreciate it when our efforts are recognised. The answer to your mystery bird question is that it was almost certainly one of the two cock Bullfinches we currently have nesting in our grounds. We look forward to seeing you... More

One of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few. A touch isolated but it is that which helps this guest house stand out. Beautifully landscaped grounds provided a very pleasant view from our room. My wife and I stayed one night here with relations. Everything was immaculately clean. Dave and... More

Friendly welcome, well-appointed rooms and a good breakfast. Quiet and discreet location - striking distance to Ely and St. Ives (Cambridge a little further). Lovely villages and countryside. Only one-night stay wished it was longer. Could not recommend it higher, many thanks!!!

Thank you so much for your very kind review. We do believe that we are perhaps the only 5 star guest house in Huntingdonshire with a real family room and we find it a pleasure to share it with others. We look forward to your next visit. More
