We stayed for two nights at the Dovecot recently and thought the standard was excellent,with great attention to detail. The breakfast was superb. A lovely peaceful place to stay in a beautifull setting.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The owners are extremely helpful, friendly and provide a very tasty cooked breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom show a real attention to detail which is rarely found away from home.

The location is so full of charm. It is to be found in extensive open grounds with buildings that form a circle around an inner garden with water lilies and other water features.The rooms are well appointed, with pictures and furnishings chosen to make each bedroom a relaxing place to be. Tony and Biddy are charming, friendly hosts, who provide a delicious range of breakfast options and advice on the many local sights (Stonehenge, Avebury and Salisbury being particularly close) and places to eat. We stayed at the Dovecot for 2 nights from July 27 to 29. The place is fantastic with a wonderful, well maintained garden. Tony and Biddy are welcoming hosts.
