My six year old daughter and I stayed in a double room whilst visiting a horse trials at nearby Wilton House. The owner emailed prior to our stay which was reassuring as we had booked from Australia some months previously. The owners were waiting for us on arrival, everything was clean and the room plenty big enough. The rooms are... More

Going away bad staying overnight with a three year old and a six month old baby can be really daunting. Not when staying at Wisteria Cottage run by Alex and John. The set up is so well suited to young families as well as couples staying the night. The rooms are furnished well and the 24 hour use of the... More

A real gem. At the time of our visit Alex was only letting the superior rooms and superior they certainly were - far better than many 4 star hotels I have stayed in. More like a very small motel than a bed and breakfast. Your own front door with parking right outside which meant you were able to come and... More

We spent one night here whilst visiting the area for a wedding. We got a very warm welcome and they went out of their way to give us a room to get ready in the morning we arrived. Our room was clean, nicely decorated and had everything you needed. Beds were comfortable and had lovely soft sheets and towels. There... More

Spent 2 nights at Wysteria Cottage in July for a family wedding in the village. Lovely setting, rooms very well appointed with lots of attention to detail. We liked the guest kitchen , helping ourselves to a Continental breakfast and not feeling tempted to have a full English! We were lucky with the weather so able to enjoy the lovely... More

Owner was waiting for us on arrival. Very friendly, she showed us around the communal kitchen and lounge facilities, which were extremely pleasant and clean. The room was lovely, everything we needed. Tea/coffee/biscuits ready on arrival (also treats for our dog) really dog friendly. Additionally there is a peaceful walk around the church, perfect for walkers. Also worthy of a... More

Visiting the area for a birthday party, I chose the B&B closest to the party venue without checking it on here first. I was pleasantly surprised. A bit like a mini motel, the rooms were chalet style overlooking a central parking area. Quality of the accomodation was excellent; everything clean tidy and working. In this quiet village the loudest sound... More

Stayed here for 1 night after visiting Salisbury, we chose the superior room which we found good value for money. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated, with good quality linen and towels. The breakfast was simple but adequate, you just help yourself. Felicity the owner did do a cooked breakfast for another couple who had ordered it the previous evening.... More
