A beautiful old building with thatched roof. Very comfortable stay in lovely large room with equally large bathroom. Liz made us feel right at home in her home and we enjoyed a lovely home cooked English breakfast.

We stayed one night at the end of our trip to a beautiful part of rural England. We arrived at Farthing Corner and was greeted by Liz, who immediately made us welcome and really feel at home. We stayed in the beautiful en suite room which was furnished beautifully with plush linens, towels and antique furniture. Ted on the bed... More

Great B&B. Liz was fabulous, took us on a trip to a local farm, told us which of the local pubs to visit for a meal and cooked us a superior breakfast with homemade sausages. The enormous rosehead shower was a highlight as well. And the amazing thatched cottage, All good.

We stayed here for one night on 1.8.15. Liz was very welcoming and accommodating on our arrival. We were greeted with a cup of tea on our arrival and were shown around the rooms. There was 7 of us in our group, 2 of us stayed outside in the cabin in the garden which was lovely and cosy. The other... More

We stayed at Farthing Corner in December, but I've only just got around to reviewing. We were made so very welcome, and shown to our beautiful rooms. Living now in Florida, going back in time even as little as 50 years, is not easily done and even then it likely has a "Disney" signature on the property and it's made of plastic. at Farthing Corner B&B, the main house dates from the 1400s. According to our gracious and generous host Liz, floors were added in the 16th... More

The house sits on a large property with a large garden, a little pond on the edge of a small forest. Our room was very spacious and lovely decorated and furnished. Liz, the host, is always up for chatting and serves a delicious breakfast with selfmade sausages. Of course she provides you with tips for your day to make sure... More

If you are looking for beautifully neat flowerbeds, matching china, hospital cleanliness and trouser presses then this is not for you. However, if you want excellent value in a unique environment and with a hostess (Liz) who very quickly becomes your best friend then this is definitely worth visiting. I have to admit that when I first arrived I thought... More

We arrived to be greeted by our one of a kind, great host Liz, who directed us to the Garden Room, which was a romantic, cosy log cabin with a veranda which overlooked the beautifully manicured garden. Tastefully furnished, very comfortable bed and powerful hot shower. Breakfast served in a lovely airy large room on a farmhouse table, with full... More
