Our host was very accommodating - the smaller apartment was booked for our dates so he gave us the bigger one at the same price. The apartment was spacious, and comfortable with a kitchen and TV. Close to the ocean and a few minutes drive to Queen Charlotte City. We wanted to be able to do our own cooking so... More

The host (Geoff) was very helpful and accommodating, from booking all the way to departure. Upon arrival at Skidegate Ferry, he drove out to pick me up. The loft accommodation was very comfortable with a full kitchen, bathtub/shower, living room area with satellite TV, and a loft with a queen bed. Free WIFI. The location is about a 15 minute... We were in Haida Gwaii for a running marathon and wanted a clean, quiet place to kick back that didn't cost a fortune. We got that and much more—space to spare, a full kitchen, a DVD library and screen to watch them on. It was just what we wanted. And only a kilometre from the centre of town. The funny... More

The Breezeway was unlike any place I'd ever stayed. It was basically a set of apartments attached to our innkeeper's residence. Our clean, spacious suite had two beds, a kitchen, and was everything we wanted at a very decent price. Geoff was a kind host who promptly responded to my inquiries before our trip and let us use his laundry... More

The Breezeway is comfortable, clean and economical. We stayed for 5 nights. Geoff was very hospitable and welcoming including being very knowledgeable of Haida Gwaii. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it for families.

I have visited the islands several times and have stayed at other places in town. Now I wish I had tried the Breezeway first! Geoff Ray offers personalized hospitality as well as clean, comfortable rooms. He could not have been more welcoming and helpful with everything from a rental car to local information. The ability to cook my own meals... More

We brought our 11 yr old grandson to Queen Charlotte City for 11 days and stayed at the very comfortable Breezeway. Geoff Ray, the owner was very accommodating and a gentle man. We rented a car through him, went for a local hike with him, were able to do laundry there, and he helped us out with some space in... More

We stayed at the Breezeway #1 suite, which had a very clean, newly renovated living room/kitchen/bathroom on the ground floor, and a very bright, airy master bedroom upstairs. It is located a small distance from the downtown strip, so very quiet and peaceful setting. The host, Geoff Ray, was very accomodating in letting us use his freezer to store some... More
