Stayed at campground #4,one of four. #3 would fit two tents and is great spot. Perched on a small bluff, the spots all look West across Seal Beach and Miners Bay. I was on my bike and had to push through 500 m of rough trail. Next time I would select from sites on the east side as it adjacent... More

This campground is a truly gorgeous spot on Active Pass, looking right across at Galiano Island. I have used this campground as a base camp for my summer natural history classes for teachers since 2007. People literally come back here over and over just for the outdoor treehouse shower.

Mayne Island camping is a great camp site. The people that own and operate Mayne Island Camping are very friendly and are really committed to maintaining the property and making sure that everyone has a good time. I have stayed at the property as a camper and in the cottage over four times. Camping or staying in the cottage are... More

This place is great. Perfect for car-free campers with an easy 20-30 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Village close by with groceries and water so you don't have to pack everything in on the first night. Well maintained sites and the tree shower is a dream. The best part - a mess of seals to keep you company. We've... More

Facilities were very good and I had a great time with friends, I only found the cabinet washrooms uncomfortable but it's part of the experience. Over all, it was very pleasant to camp in this place. It was fun.

Hi Victor, Thank you for the positive review and we are glad you enjoyed your visit! Yes, you are right, outhouses are part of the Canadian camping experience. We take pride in keeping them clean and well maintained but they definitely don't flush!! Hope you can come again! Lois More

The Mayne Island trip was once in a lifetime experience. Campsite gave a perfect aura of the beautiful ocean and distant mountains. You could just go for hiking through the small trails and enjoy the sunset. The area is spacious and you could hang around and play games. The "open shower" is an unexpected feature and surely adds to the... More

This place offers a good experience for campers. It is a pristine and tranquil place more or less like a weekend getaway with a lot of activities during the night and day. The quality of the hotel and assistance was impressive. Overall I would rate this place a full 5 stars.

I bike-camped here for one night and absolutely loved it. I had high expectations after reading the reviews, and these were surpassed. Firstly, I had booked ahead via email and it was a very friendly , efficient and welcoming exchange. The campsites themselves were simply stunning I had #4 and lnot only was the site fantastic but the what I... More

My adult daughter and I decided to go on a mother-daughter camping trip and spent 3 nights(June 28-30) at Seal Beach - what a wonderful experience! I believe there are only 8-9 (?) sites, and a common area by the residence on the property. All sites are walk-in but it is a very short walk from the parking lot. We... More

My daughter and I had a most wonderful holiday camping at Seal Beach. The site for our campervan was bright and spacious with lots of room for children to play and run around. The beach was amazing with lots of nooks and crannies to explore with great beach combing treasures to find. We hiked a few of the trails around... More
