My wife and I spent 3 nights in August at Corbett House on north Pender Island. We used it as the HUB when biking all over north and south Pender Island. Corbett is a great location as it is close to the ferry, Roesland Park, the Driftwood market, the Sea Star estate winery and the Café at Hope Bay (we... More

My husband and I had an incredible stay at the Corbett House while attending a wedding at the Sea Star Winery. Our king suite was very comfortable and romantic! The bed was heavenly, we had our own bathroom with claw foot tub and a lovely little patio. Eve and John make all their guests feel very comfortable. The whole house... More

What a gem! Beautifully restored historic house, tastefully decorated, fabulous breakfast, charming hosts, bucolic grounds with views! And most important, the best bed (and therefore, sleep) of our 8 day bike trip around the Gulf Islands. Eve and John have succeeded in providing the best experience for their guests.

This is a belated review for a stay with John and Eve last September. We spent a few days on Pender at the start of our holiday to west-coast Canada. It was perfect for us to get away from the busy, commercial areas like Vancouver and Victoria, but yet only a short ferry hop away. John and Eve could not... More

This is the place to stay on Pender Island but only if you have a good heart and will appreciate the genuine kindness and thoughtfulness Eve and John exemplify. I usually don't care for B&B's as they always feel like being in a Stepford wife dollhouse, scary! The Corbett House is tastefully designed, furnished with an eye for the creative,... More

Corbett House is a lovely house set in beautiful grounds and the hosts were friendly enough, but there were a few things which we felt weren't quite up to standard: the "en-suite" bathroom was actually just a toilet and sink, so we had to share the shower with other people and it wasn't always completely clean. You also don't get... More

We enjoyed the wonderful hospitality, the great breakfast, the beautiful backyard, the goats, the sheep and all the rest. The island is beautiful as is the ferry ride to get there. The nearest restaurant is closed on Monday but there's another nice one in Port Browning.

We stayed one night at Corbett House during a bike tour on the gulf island, and it was just lovely. John and Eve were fantastic hosts and the house was beautiful. The rooms were perfect and the breakfast was amazing. We loved it! I'd recommend it to anyone.

Having home-dried peppermint tea and cookies on the porch of Corbett house in fancy tea cups was one of my 12-year-old daughter's highlights from our week-long Gulf Islands cycle tour. John and Eve were so welcoming of both of us, so attentive to my daughter, Sylvie, and we enjoyed Eve's fabulous photographs and art collection throughout the house. They have... More

We have been B and B-ing and ocean kayaking in the Gulf Islands for 20 years, and have always tried to stay at accommodations on the waterfront. This year we couldn't find such a one on Pender Island, so we decided to go inland, and found Corbett House. What a gem! The house is a large, 111-year-old country farmhouse, lovingly... More
