We just spent 4 nights at The Aerie. The location is perfect for exploring the island of Vancouver and Victoria. The rooms are superb with exquisite views, fireplace, luscious furnishings (a great nights sleep) and amenities. The restaurant is exceptional using local produce and ingredients - we could not have had more delicious breakfasts and dinners. The chef is to... more

An amazing location overlooking a picturesque bay, this is definitely a luxury spot where the view is the star. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who seemed genuinely concerned that you were enjoying yourself and were being looked after. We stayed in the Villa which includes a butler service that can be a little over the top but is very useful and... more

The Aerie hosted my wedding and it could not have gone any better. We had a butler, a perfect location for the ceremony and top notch staff that was able to navigate all of our needs without a single complaint. Going back will be a yearly retreat for us and I couldn't imagine better views of the surrounding areas, better... more

We came to The Aerie with friends and all of us agreed that this was a very special place. The ambience, caring service, view, luxury, attentive staff, accommodations, and location, made this a very special experience. The dining room is exceptional. The food, service, quiet and private seating areas , and view, make this one of the most special dining... more

The resort was amazing, we stayed here for 2 nights and we were the only 2 people in the resort. We were amazed at how beautiful the resort was and where it was located, we was greeted at the front desk with a warm and friendly manner. We booked a standard room but I am sure we was upgraded to... more

We stayed at the Aerie for a family birthday. My boyfriend and I stayed in a room in the main buildng, which was a huge mistake. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the view amazing...but we were located directly under the dining room. When we asked to switch rooms, we were told this was not possible. So every morning... more

I had a small wedding at the Aerie this fall, we chose the Aerie because we wanted to have an elegant wedding with excellent food and a great view. Neither happened. When we chose the Aerie we thought we would be able to count on a professional courteous staff, who would help the day transition smoothly, after all your wedding... more

We had a two night stay at The Aerie, in an Eagle View Suite. (C$249 per night, mid week) It was terrific - one window of our immaculate room looked straight down a fjord-type inlet surrounded by ancient forest, the other had a jacuzzi in it! Our room also had a wood burning fireplace, which was very cosy as we... more

Please read this review prior to reading any negative reviews about the Aerie. I must say that we were concerned about the past reviews wrtten about the Arie; but, after speaking with Andrew Trinder, the Resort's Director, we decided to give it a try and did stay 7 nights at the Aeire. I am happy to report that all negative... more
