Us, and two other couples spent two nights at the Claramount Inn. Each room was unique and beautifully decorated. The dinners were exquisitely done, and the service was excellent. We took the late evening dinner, and the staff kept the pool open 1 hour later to accommodate us; the same with the outdoor hottub. Beside a few minor spring repairs... More

I have never stayed at the Inn, but I have used their spa services and eaten at the restaurant. The dining room is cramped and could use some updating, but the food and service were great. I had the best steak of my life there. The 3 pedicures I have had at the spa have all been excellent. My only... More

Our two night stay was a package and one we thoroughly enjoyed. We were in Suite 1 which was traditionally decorated with antiques, some of which were gorgeous. There was an original fireplace which, with the exquisite furnishings and crown moldings added a wonderful historic feel to our stay. We had a door to the main Inn and access outside... More

This was our 2nd visit to the Claramount Inn and Spa in Picton Ontario. Here are a few things that we were disappointed in: 1. When we checked in to the cottage across the road from the inn, we asked if there were enough towels for 4 adults but sure enough when we moved in there was only towels for... More

We went for our anniversary weekend and took advantage of the winter getaway package. Good value. The first night we stayed in room 4 and it was very dated, but quaint for people who like the Victorian ambiance. King size bed was very comfortable. The soaker tub was fantastic. Sound quality was poor as we had some pretty rowdy neighbours... More

We were two couples staying in rooms 1 and 2. We had the weekend package. We do recommend staying at the Claramount Inn. The rooms could use some work, mainly some painting touchups, but overall the rooms are fine. The food was very good. Compliments to the chef. The service was great. Bill and Randy at breakfast. Candace and another lady... More

This may sound harsh but Mom and I had a pedicure at the spa and it was probably one of the worst pedicures we ever got. We could not be in the same room which was unfortunate because we booked this pedi to spend some time together. All places I went previously has allowed for people to be in the... More

We're very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your pedicure. Most of our guests prefer private rooms for their treatments, so that's how we've set up our facility, so we're sorry we couldn't accommodate your request to share a room with your mother. Our procedure for pedicures isn't to have our guests laying down. We have adjustable spa tables... More

My wife and I were there for the 2-night winter escape package that included two breakfasts and one dinner. Our room #6 was on the 3rd floor so was a bit of a climb with our luggage. It was a huge room with a nice sunroom, good bed and nice bathroom. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. A-la-carte breakfast... More

Claramount is a much grander house than its competitor properties in Prince Edward County, the Merrill Inn and the Waring House. We took advantage of a winter package which gave us a room, and breakfast and dinner for two for less than a room normally costs in the County. Suite 5 is spectacular, huge, with gorgeous picture postcard views over... More

My family stayed here to celebrate my mother in law's 60th birthday. The main Inn is beautiful and it is in a great location to visit the surrounding county. We had a nice dinner and a good breakfast at the on site restaurant. The food was good, but not outstanding.
