I don't know how you could find this Inn anything but absolutely charming! As we entered the main foyer, we were whisked back in time. The historical style has been beautifully maintained, but with just enough of a touch of modern to keep it comfortable. Our room (#1) had such a classic feel, with beautifully preserved antiques, and historical style... More

Came to attend a wedding which was in a lovely garden setting. The innkeeper served us champagne :-) Reception dinner was as fabulous as the restaurants' reputation promises. Partying in the Pub was fun, the local band played to the crowd. Breakfast was superb and we really really did not want to leave. Almost forgot, the Inn is near Picton... More

Check in and checkout was a challenge as only a single person is assigned to this task as well as responding to incoming telephone calls and questions from those in the rooms. Our television would not work. The first time I called I was told to check the instructions in the book under the TV. There were no instructions. The... More

The Waring House is in the perfect location to visit the county. We stayed in one of the newer rooms which was large with a tub, separate shower, king size (uber-comfy) bed, and a balcony overlooking the parking lot with a couple of Muskoka chairs. It's a great hotel for larger groups. It has easy access to the Millenium Trail... More

We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and especially your room. We actually sell the exact same bedding used in all the rooms in our gift shop (feather beds, pillows, duvets), so if you come again, you can even take that part of the experience home with you. Thanks for sharing and we hope to see you again... More

After staying at Waring House's sister hotel, The Claramount Inn, for three nights, we did the same here. There's no comparison. Our room in Waring's "House Next Door" was very small and over-stuffed with furniture. Comfy bed, quiet, and view of a reedy pond off the deck. Hard for my husband and I to both work at the same time... More

Rooms are very small and look like my grandmother had decorated them. The office reception was terrible, we asked for a late check out and the woman as just plain rude and complained that about the inconvience it would case the staff. No ice machines in some of the buildings. The restaurant had a good breakfast and the service there... More

We spent a night here after a day of wine tastings. Joanne at reception did a wonderful job with our reservation. She went to special lengths to make sure all was right. Thanks Joanne. So the room was wonderful. We stayed in the Heritage building in room 115. Very very roomy. A great big tub - big enough for me... More

When we first walked into our room 17 all I could think of was " Grandmas Feather bed, it was 9ft high & 6ft wide soft as a downy chick, etc." beautiful antique furniture. Staff at reception were fantastic, dinner at the Barley Room was great, Ryan our table waiter what a great guy. Loved everything about this place.
