My husband and I booked a weekend stay at the Waring House during a very busy weekend in the county. When I made my reservation I explained I had a severe feather allergy and could they make sure the room was down free. I was assured this was possible. I even asked if occupancy permitted could they change the down... More

My husband and I stayed one night at the Waring House. The room was very spacious with a lovely bathroom, including a large two person bath tub. There was a two person hot tub on the "patio" which was also kind of fun. I thought the decor was very tasteful. The fireplace is electric which added some ambience without throwing... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in October 2014 and while it was definitely a pleasant stay, I can't shake the feeling that something was missing overall. The staff were very polite and the room was pretty comfortable. There were quite a few blankets and duvets on the bed and it could get quite hot at night even though it... More

We were three couples on a wine tasting weekend in July and all stayed 2 nights at the Waring house. This Inn is comprised of several buildings that have been built over different decades. The original building has been converted to the restaurant, pub and has at least one guest room that one of our friends used. Another older building... More

We do offer different experiences for our different guests. The rooms in the main house (1-4) and the house next door (5-17) seek to accurately reflect the Victorian era when the buildings were first constructed. Some of our guests love this sort of experience, but we understand that it's not for everyone, so our lodges provide a more modern hotel... More

My husband and I booked an overnight getaway to The Waring House last weekend. Check-in was smooth and courteous. Our room was in The House Next Door and we found it very charming. The decor was kind of Victorian, in colours and style, which I personally love. We had dinner at the on site restaurant and it was wonderful. We... More

There comes a time each year when you need to just getaway. The Waring House proved to be the perfect location. The hotel offered great ambiance, good food and a great staff. In addition with a Claramont Spa just a short drive away you could leave looking and feeling years younger! What more can you ask for?

We stayed here for our first time to celebrate our Anniversary. We stayed in the separate cottage near the Restaurant and Bar. This was very convenient. The rooms were decorated for the period with antique furniture and accents. That being said they are in need of upgrading. Some of the furniture, carpets and drapes are showing their age. Our room... I stayed in the Vineyard Cottage this month for four glorious nights and I did NOT want to leave!!! The cottage was absolutely beautiful. As many times as I have eaten at the Pub (which has been a LOT), I had always wondered what the cottage looked like inside. After emailing Rachael back and forth with multiple questions I had... This is beautiful place to stay, The rooms are beautiful and come in an array of sizes to suit your price point. The Inn also has 2 dining establishments. I would highly recommend getting the "Just for Fun" Package if you're staying for two nights, which was not only a fantastic deal, it was a great experience. It includes a... More

We had booked for the one night room, dinner, breakfast package on a Monday night on our way back from Mt Tremblant. We had stayed there before & asked for a room in the new building. Our room on the second floor was very spacious & clean with a walkout balcony. We loaded up the baggage trolley only to find... More
