It's hard to know where to start. . . . flawless stay from start to finish. Staff were so friendly, warm and efficient. I enjoyed the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in while away during this visit to the Waring House. The bed alone will bring me back! We were in room 111 in the Heritage Lodge. We... More

We booked two rooms in the House Next Door building for a family of four during the Countylicious in November. On their Website they show most of the pics. of rooms in this building and a few for the Quaker & Heritage Lodge, and since we booked online decided to book both rooms at the House Next Door. When we... More

We stayed in the large suites in the Lodges which are large and quite comfortable. We were part of a specail Countylichious were the room included 2 breakfasts and one dinner. I must say the food was not great especially for a place that conducts cookery classes you would think it would be outstanding but it wasn"t and to top... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waring house. Even though we visited the area off season, we had a great time touring around and the restaurant and pub at the Waring House were great and very lively. Food was excellent (particularly the French Toast...might have been the best breakfast I ever had, no joke!).

I just returned from a weekend at the Waring House for my partner's milestone birthday celebration. We stayed on the ground floor of the Heritage building. Considering it was a premium room, we were both quite disappointed. The decor was nothing special, and despite the fireplace in the room, we wondered if we'd really gotten a premium room. (I'd originally... More

We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your dinner in Amelia's Garden, but of course, we're sorry that you didn't enjoy your room. Of course no single style of decoration suits everyone's tastes. The premium rooms and suites are spacious and modern while the rooms in the Main House and the House Next Door are cozy and reflect a nostalgia... More

We really enjoyed a cookery class as a special birthday activity. Chef Gerry was great explaining all about Thai food, and we got to get 'hands on' with the cooking. Great kitchen facilities, informative, and lots of fun. We'd recommend it to others, and we'll take another class in the future.

Eight years after my husband and I had our honeymoon at the Waring House we found ourselves back there for an unexpected 2 night stay.Everything was as good or better than we had remembered. The staff were just as thoughtful and the prices have virtually not changed. What was new was the the wonderful new buildings that now house lovely comfortable rooms.Our... We celebrated my birthday at the Waring House recently. My husband had booked the quaint cottage. It had stone walls, gas fireplace, king bed and was attractively decorated. Our package included an aperitif, 2 wine tasting tickets, 20%off in the gift shop and a full country breakfast. Dinner is a reasonable $35.00 for three courses. Amelia's dining room, and the... We stayed here for (Canadian) Thanksgiving weekend, and had a lovely room with a private hot tub on the back deck. We were in one of the newer buildings (Quaker or Heritage) and the room was very nicely appointed. Bed and linens were comfortable, and the bathroom was very large. There was a fridge in the room as well, which... More

Just stayed at the Waring House for the weekend and I am extremely impressed. The website did not do the rooms justice. We stayed in the Quacker Lodge. What a beautiful building and rooms, clearly the building in fairly new. The towels are like blankets, wonderful bathrobes, great duvet covers and a wonderful fire place. We were put in a... More
