This is a great site all round. I was here for 2 nights and had a nice view of the sandbanks. The bathrooms weren't prefect bit the showers were nice and hot. The owner is also very friendly and will help you with whatever you need. I will definitely be back.

The cottage itself was quite comfortable; I grew up in a house just like it so I was right at home. It was equipped with everything you could possible need: toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee maker, utensils, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans. The owner, Tim, said that the water was good for drinking, but we brought our own anyway, just in... More

Since May 2014 we rent a site from Tim (owner). Our experience has been absolutely amazing. The site is fabulously located, the water is warm, and the people are sooooo friendly. I recommend this small part of paradise to anybody who loves nature and people

What a special place they have created there. A wonderful view of the Dunes. Somewhat pricey, however, which is too bad if your funds are limited. Not sure why they charge so much. We can only afford one or two nights because of the price. Guess the owners don't realize some people don't have much funds. If you go there,... More

Me and wife stayed here on the 6th and 7th Sept. This is a our first time camping in a trailer park. This is a great place about 100metres from the Dunes beach on the banks of West Lake. This place gets 5 stars for the location. We stayed in the prowler which was good enough for both of us.... More

Ok spot. We rented a trailer. Despite it being called the "Presidential" trailer, there was nothing presidential about it! Old, a bit smelly with lots of bugs. I guess we were expecting too much from a camping place. No beach at that location. 5 mins driving away from the actual beach. They rent canoes and such for 20$ a day,... More

We stayed at the Dunes location right on the water. It was an amazing location, right at the dunes by the park and overlooking the lake. Perfect sunsets every night! The one thing I think would make it better is to have canoe, kayak, etc...available for use as part of rental. And to have them right on site at that location.

First time ever camping in trailer park. What an expérience. First of all let me say that it was beyond my wildest expectations. We were in trailer 39a facing West lake and the Dunes beach of the Sandbanks provincial Park. Staff courteous, the 39 foot fulyl equipped trailer was exceptionnaly clean, 20 seconds walk to the dock. One minute walk... More

We enjoy camping at Sandbanks Beach resort every summer! We stay at the Sand Dunes park. Our son enjoys swimming off the dock and jumping from the floating dock. The property is just a short walk from the Sandbanks Provincial park beach. The family that runs the park are very friendly and helpful. It's a very quiet family park, so... More

This place is absolutely incredible! Great owners, quiet neighbours, gorgeous beach that I couldn't get enough of!! Extremely clean grounds & washrooms (showers included). Awesome fishing. My dad, mom, brother, sister and I caught tons of bass and a few pike. Just a few minutes away from Ontario Provincial Park, restaurants, mini-golf, SAND DUNES and souvenir shops! Right when we...
