Our stay in Sleepy Hallowell was simply lovely. The owner, Sherlyn, was very quick to respond to all of my emails and inquiries in detail. As this was our first trip to Prince Edward County, she made several recommendations and even provided us with a map of the region labeled with her "must-see" wineries, look-out points, etc. The bedrooms were... My husband and son stayed at Sleepy Hallowell for a weekend last summer and found it clean, quiet, comfortable and brimming with hospitality. We all enjoyed the most delicious and varied breakfasts I've ever encountered at a B&B -- from classic egg dishes and scrumptious baked goods to fresh local fruit and edible flowers. It was wonderful to relax in... More

We stayed for one night in September and had a very great time. We had a nice and clean room and felt very welcomed. The owner recommended us a pub with live music 10 min walk away- that was a great evening! The breakfast in the morning was fresh and delicious. All in all we had been very confident

We found Sleepy Hallowell an excellent place to stay! The accomodations were very comfortable and private. We soo appreciated the extra mile Sherlyn went in providing cupcakes for a birthday celebration and graciously giving us a bottle of wine and chocoloate to start our stay in picton right! The location is a perfect walk to town. Our most enjoyable part... More

I had a great time! The room was beautiful and spacious. The a/c was provided at our personalized temp and definitely needed. The breakfast was sumptuous and again personalized for what time we requested. I loved the variety! The tourtiere was delicious with the chutney. The hosts were lovely. I don't think I have a remotely negative thing to say.... More

Thank you for making Sleepy Hallowell Bed and Breakfast your, "Home away from home". You are truly patrons that appreciate the County, and planned a trip that did not just constitute a day at the beach. You included a winery tour , which was conducive to the wet weather at the time of your stay. We try to promote seasonal... More

My husband and I stayed for three nights at Sleepy Hallowell. This was our first experience in a B & B and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The accomodations were very comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious and the portions plentiful. The house is well decorated and is spotless. When one requests a private bathroom, the owner does not rent out the... More

We had a wonderful stay at Sleepy Hallowell. The house and our room were clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Spent much of our time lounging in and around the pool. The owners are wonderful, and seem to have thought of every little detail, from pool towels to spare bathing suits if you've forgotten yours. Great value! And the blueberry pancakes were... More

We have stayed at Sleepy Hallowell Bed and Breakfast a couple of times over the years while our home had some renovations done, and we ALWAYS send family there who visit us from out of town. It is not because it is conveniently located right nexr door to us, but because the mother and son team who run it are... More

My husband and I stayed here last weekend with another couple. We had the small bedroom with a shared bathroom. The room is small but functional (we just needed a place to sleep!) It has air conditioning which is nice on those hot summer nights. It was very quiet and we both had a restful sleep. The room and bathroom... More

We thank you for sharing your review with others. The Provincial Park Pass to Sandbanks is worth its weight in gold, and is well used by our guests! We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay.
