the cabin is fine for two, but basic. Clean, big tv, shower, but the bed was wobbly, no airco (we didnt´t need it this time), but a ceiling fan and because of 2 opposite windows nice fresh air. Lots of parking space, gasstation, and although next to the higway (Alcan), we had a quiet sleep. The onsite restaurant was good,... More

We had stopped at "Wolf it down" restaurant on our way to Alaska for an excellent meal and vowed we'd be back and stay in their cute log cabins called Nugget City. on our way back - so here we are. The cabins are really perfect - very clean and wonderfully decorated in woodsy, Western style with touch lamps with... More

The cabins are clean, the towels thick, the shower powerful. It was a treat to reach Watson Lake and have such nice accommodations and have the best meal of our trip. Plenty of parking if you're in an RV and want a break or hauling a trailer. The connected RV park was a great walk... letting us see how close... More

If you are looking for some nice cabins while travelling the Alaskan Highway through Watson Lake area you cannot go wrong here. The owners were very accommodating when we were making our reservations. They put us in a beautiful pet friendly cabin that was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need like microwave, frig, wifi (which is something, in... More

I spent one night here relocating down from Alaska to the lower 48...was a peaceful night of sleep, could hear and smell the wildlife all around...the tent site was level....no fire ring- however, understandable as this is a wildfire prone area of the north...breathtaking stars and aurora to be seen at night...the restaurant had yummy spaghetti and meatballs....the restrooms were... Tired, cold, and uncertain of what lay ahead I stumbled upon a small service center in the Yukon about 20 miles north of Watson Lake. Pulling my motorcycle into the parking lot at 10 pm hopeful that food and warmth could be found inside. I entered the quaint log building to find heaven on a plate. A professionally trained chef... We had a major engine failure last month and Scotty was extremely helpful in allowing us to use his phone since our service was not available. Along with that he provided us a couple of nites free of charge until our wrecker service arrived from Whitehorse. He also had a mechanic on site that tried to get us on the... More

Found this place to be the most expensive on the trip and not worth the money. Food is very expensive and at best only mediocre. The "help" was rude and definitely not helpful. Won't be stopping there again for anything and will not be recommending the place to anyone I know planning to travel up in that area.

My husband and I stayed July 6 2014. When I called they said price of room around $149.00 a night for a cabin. When we arrived it was $159.00 a night. Also they charged $6.16 for water you use in bathroom. Also $8.01 for gst. I don't even know what that was for. As for as the cabin it was... More

Traveling down the Alcan in August 2013 we were surprised to see this obvious newer accommodations. While the price was on the high end, we felt the cabin we had was worth the money, especially compared to what was charged at other venues. The food was well prepared and reasonable but our hosts were outstanding. We wish them much success.... More
