We stayed at the Ucluelet Campground on August 12 & 13, 2014 and were once again very satisfied with this facility. It is a good value headquarters for exploring the Pacific Rim; the showers require some physical coordination and planning - along with a wee bit of flexibility but the price is right - free showers!!

The Pacific Rim area in the west of Vancouver Island is a piece of nature not to be missed: its rain forests, its wide - and now & then wild - beaches, wildlife... So you have to make your choice between Tofino & Ucluelet if you are to stay overnight. We chose smaller Ucluelet and ended on Ucluelet Campground. We... More

A lovely site and in a great location by the harbour. The staff were very friendly and offered lots advice about the area. If your looking to explore the beautiful peninsula of Ucluelet with an RV then look no further.

This was a great campground, had a sweet view of the water. It was quiet, the outdoor dishwashing sinks were handy - although they only had cold water. More than enough showers and bathrooms. The showers were a little cramped but there was plenty of hot water. Staff was very friendly and helpful with information.

Some tent sites are quite big - that was fortunately our case - some others are so so small or very bad located. They say you have hot showers. However during the two days of the weekend we had cold showers. And finally it's not quiet at all. They say that it has to be quiet after 10pm. However nobody... More

Mainly writing this review because I was totally impressed with the cleanliness of their washrooms and showers. Didn't matter what time of day or night you visited them, they were pristine. Almost unheard of on a campground!

We stayed at Ucluelet Campground this summer. The bathrooms are spotless and so is the campsite. Lots of variety of spots for RV's and tents. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Walking distance into town. We will look forward to returning.

+ good situated in Ucluelet - very small sites - functional, not nice - staff not helpful - too expensive for what you get - pretty loud I would not come back, this is not a good place to stay. Better go somewhere else. (Green Ground...)

Arrived there in the fog and only had a few hours sun per day, told his was normal for July and August (fogust LOL) Got to hear the fog horn every two minutes day and night. Washrooms were clean but could use mats to get you out of the water when getting dressed. Sites are very small, generally you either... More

We came here after a disappointing stay in Tofino and loved it, Ucluelet is lovely, the campground is just on the edge of town, walking distance from shops and trails and overlooks the marina, the facilities were spotless and the staff were lovely.
