Despite the moody staff this campsite was everything we needed it to be. Quite cheap with a good location. Decent facilities and nice views of the water. Be sure to bear proof your campsite as bears were around.

We showed up on labour day long weekend with no reservation, there was plenty of sites open. The sites are somewhat small, we were camping out of our van so we didn't need to worry about finding a spot for out tent. The washrooms were clean enough, and there are plenty of sinks with hot water close to the campsites... More

We made reservations three days before we arrived at the campground. We drove down from Tofino, arriving at the camground about 11:30 AM. When I asked if our site was available, I was told that I couldn't check-in until 2 o'clock, even if the site was empty. After using the campground's sani-dump, I drove past our empty site (#44) before... More

We stayed at Ucluelet Campground just one night. It cost us $45 for a serviced spot for the RV. Thank goodness the RV was quite small as it only just fit into the small space. The toilet block was disgusting and seemed to be leaning downhill. They were dirty and unpleasant. The campground had WiFi up near the office which... More

We rented a campsite for 2 nights at Ucluelet campground. The washrooms were disgusting and the showers even more so. it would benefit the owners to have a staff member clean these every 2 hours or more. Further, be prepared to take cold showers. They ran out of propane on the holiday Monday when it was extremely busy in the... More

Today my bf and I went in to Ucluelet campground hoping to find out information about monthly rentals. We arrived shortly after noon and there was a note on the door saying they'd be back at 1:10 - fine, no big deal! When we came back after an hour we went and talked to the lady working behind the desk.... More

We arrived after 8pm and unfortunately the office was closed. Doesn't seem like there is a grounds keeper or anyone on site everyday after 8pm. We eventually found someone to help us and suggested the overflow campsite which is a 30 second drive down the road. You can see a pic of our tent we pitched and the dock. We... More

A great location, clean showers, friendly staff and good views if you get a waterfront site. A very good campsite. Also for once it was not only designed for RV's so my wife and i were able to use our tent in comfort.

Really liked Ucluelet - we preferred it to Tofino in some ways. Town has limited places to eat but great scenery. Good place to go whale watching. Try and get a RV pitch with view of harbour. Wifi limited. So recommend and good value.

We stayed at the Ucluelet Campground on August 12 & 13, 2014 and were once again very satisfied with this facility. It is a good value headquarters for exploring the Pacific Rim; the showers require some physical coordination and planning - along with a wee bit of flexibility but the price is right - free showers!!
