We loved every almost every campground in BC but SJC was a home run for us. After making the harrowing drive into the Ucelet/Torino area - this was a sight for sore eyes. Clean, open, lots to do and the office even had espresso and a mini store..very mini but still..the bathrooms were clean, the ambiance was great and a... More

Not sure who is the right customer for that campground. It is a car centric campground, as there is no destination activities or vistas in or near camp, unlike the national park camp a few miles down the road. Not much to keep kids occupied (nothing to explore), which was turn off for us. That's just a reality of the... More

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights at SJC during our three week road trip in Washington and B. C., which was by far the best camping during the trip! We would have come even one night earlier, but the place was fully booked, so reservations are recommended in high season. Locations is not near to the city center, and... More

My friend and I had a surf lesson with Justin in September and he was excellent. It was her first time surfing. She was really nervous, but he put her at ease right away. Justin was very knowledgeable and friendly and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to try surfing. Surf Junction Campground is awesome and we'll... More

Interesting stay at the campground that was surprisingly busy. Not much to see in terms of a walk around. If you are in the need or mood for surf lessons this place may be for you including a $5 wetsuit dryer. Firewood was $5.50 for a few pieces but it did its job. Tofono is 35 km away while a... More

Right from when we were first booking over the phone to the end of our stay the people at Surf Junction were incredibly friendly, easy-going and helpful. The campground is really great, nicely set up, has a hot tub, you can rent all your surf gear there and it even has an espresso machine. Our site was completely private and... More

This campground is awesome! I would highly recommend it to anyone! We were only supposed to stay 3 nights but stayed 5 because we loved it so much :) The staff were all super helpful, especially Liz! She helped set up our tarp, always stopped by to say Hi and see how we were doing. She even helped us when... More

We were supposed to camp for 2 nights but everything seemed to be against us from the get go. When we arrived to camp the guests that were supposed to be leaving the site that morning had not. They had gone out sight seeing so we sat in the parking lot for sometime waiting. When it was starting to get... More

I went to Ucluelet without knowing anything about it, just that I wanted to camp and surf. I found this campground through a web search and reviews. Surf Junction was rad for a few reasons... It's in the woods, not in town. It's closer to the surf beaches around Ucluelet. There was running water at most of the sites. Super... More

Our site was beautiful as well as private. There were so many trees that it was actually dark. The bathrooms and hot tub were actually very clean. The staff was very friendly. I did reserve a site in advance and was happy I did as there were no vacancies.
