It's been a life long dream of mine to try surfing. I've always figured I would have done well growing up on the California coast. Well no more need for dreams, I took a trip to Tofino and to Surf Junction. First off, the campground is cool, it's got a hot tub and sauna, A surfy theme, and seems like... More

The staff were amazing and very accommodating. We stayed in mid September 2014 and the they had clean bathrooms and had a sauna/hot tub. Surf lessons were a lot of fun. Even with the torrential downpour, we managed to stay dry and the campsite wasn't flooded. Would definitely go back. Great value!

Our fourth time staying here, and it was, as always, excellent. Sites are well laid out, with some very private off in the far reaches of the campground. It was very quiet - we stayed late September mid-week - so we decided to go with a serviced site near the showerhouse so we cold plug in and enjoy electric lights... More

We stayed at Surf Junction in early September 2014. The campground was very quiet (we went during the week) all the toilets and bathrooms were very clean and the staff was very accommodating. Plus there is a HOT TUB!!! We took surf lessons one morning which was great and I took a beach yoga class with Sandy one morning which... More

We really enjoyed this campground and would definitely be back! Gravel sites that offer plenty of privacy! Nice clean showers and bathrooms and clean well kept hot tub as well. Our kids did a surfing package with Lars and they had a blast! It was cool and rainy the whole time we were here but lots to do and a... More

I have been camping at Surf Junction Campground every summer for 7 years now, and look forward to it every single year! We used to debate trying a different place closer to the beach, but the amazing staff, beautifully kept facilities AND the hot tub/sauna combo (for serious, there's a hot tub and a sauna, and it is the best... We've stayed at many camp sites but this is a joke of a campground. Sure camping is sometimes all about luck and timing, but there's no excuse for this one. Supervision is non-existent, "staff" kids pretend sites are over booked. We inquired about a site only to hear they were all booked except for ours, a 10x10ft site without any... More

My 13 year-old son and I stayed 3 nights with the midweek Surf Lesson package. The campground is phenomenal: quiet, clean and friendly. The coffee is excellent! We really enjoyed the surf lesson with Nick and Lars. My son took another lesson the following day with Lars and Dusty. The instructors are really kind, encouraging and knowledgable. Having the rentals... More

Perfect spot if you value your space and don't mind being a bit far from the beach. We wanted to book a campsite at a different campground on the beach, but they were booked up, so we ended up here. The beach campsite had campers packed in like sardines, so glad that we didn't end up there and found surf... More

Mi'lady and I stayed here for 3 nights a month ago and it was a real treat. We had a walk-in camp site and it was spacious and private. A nice pit to burn wood at night made for wicked camp-fires amid the silent forest. I heard reports of bears in the area but didn't see any ... unfortunately. We... More
