While visiting Ucluelet we ate at the Canadian princess chart room lounge restaurant. The food was over priced, the service was horrible!, they had no kids menu and no way to make food for kids (asked for mac & cheese, and altho they had a version on the menu, they were unable to make it kid friendly). I ordered a... More

We were treated like royalty and received an awesome 2 day trip. Rooms were clean and well kept. After our trip today we came back with our limit (10) on chinooks, 5 koho, and a 30 pound Hali. The manager Jonathon Pim treated out group like royalty and ensured we had another awesome year! Thanks Princess and we are already... More

The crew and I have been working extremely hard to make this one of the premier fishing resorts in British Columbia, so I’m glad to see our efforts are paying off. And I’m thrilled that you caught so much fish! The fishing has been truly amazing... More

Stayed in a double room (2 beds) and a loft room (4 beds) while hosting friends for a fishing charter, then booked day by day while waiting for my vehicle to be repaired. Ended up staying nine days total. Clean and reasonably-sized main rooms, all with balconies, and the lofts are very spacious. The helpful and friendly staff, from the... More

My cousin and I stayed here for one night during a visit to Vancouver Island. Our room, 301, smelled musty on arrival which was not very pleasant. The accommodation was comfortable enough but there was no fridge. Also the chrome in the room and bathroom was corroding and the heater in the bathroom was full of fluff and dust. We... More

I’m disappointed your stay did not meet your expectations, or mine. I will be looking into the smell you described and have spoken with my housekeeping crew to ensure all dust is removed from the rooms. I greatly appreciate your feedback. It’s comments like these that allow us to continue improving and I hope you will stay with us again... More

My husband and I found a relatively good deal on a loft suite so decided to have a short family vacation and travel to Ucluelet from Campbell River. Upon arrival the front desk staff was uninformative. Did not ask my husband to verify his ID to make sure credit card matched. Did not inform us of 6am housekeeping rounds. And... More

We stayed 2 nights in June 2014 and took an all day fishing trip from 6am-5pm. Our room had an old musty smell, i didn't complain since I thought all the rooms must smell like that. The room looked clean, was spacious and did have comfortable beds. The restaurant was on the converted ship, the food was ok, but they... More

A older place in need of some updating. For us it was fine. Room was clean, and comfortable. Would be ideal for a group of fishermen, they offer loads of fishing excursions. Maid service starts very early, you are asked to put the 'do not disturb' sign on if you are not going fishing.

We had this hotel chosen for us as part of a nature adventure holiday - very happy with the quality and welcome of the staff and the wonderfully comfortable beds . As the rooms didn't include breakfast it was a superb find to use the 'gray whale ' coffee house and deli directly opposite . It was also our good... More

I was supposed to stay two nights on this anchored boat… however, as soon as I got aboard, I felt a sense of claustrophobia coming over me and it didn’t get any better when I saw the cabin I was supposed to stay in. The cabin just fitted a bed and a sink - the showers were shared with other... More

We were exploring the Ucluelet area and stumbled upon this little(not so small) gem. We started with a creamy seafood chowder laced with spices and fresh seafood. We had garlic bread that was fresh French bread with real garlic and butter. My husband enjoyed the fish tacos which were wonderful, with chipotle aioli and pico de gallo, cabbage slices and... More
