We showed up at the Canadian Princess Resort fresh off the beach at Tofino. We had booked it, quite frankly, because at $98 in high season it was less expensive than most, the rooms looked big, and and it looked interesting because of the ship permanently moored behind it. Got into the room and found that the cold water tap... More

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour. The room was large and had a great view of the bay and the mountains. It was a bit dated but I thought it was good for what I wanted and I would recommend staying here. There's a cafe across the road for breakfast.

Although the resort was full the evening we tried to get a room, Maureen at the front desk went out of her way to try to help us. We really appreciated her friendly attitude. We will have to give them a try next time!

This was our first trip to Canadian Princess and Ucluelet. We are so glad we went, and will definitely return next summer. The rooms are basic, but clean. The staff are great. The young lady at check in was very friendly and informative. The young gentleman and lady at the fish house were amazing. They vacuum packed our fish, including... More

We asked for a cute little harbor inn and that's exactly what we got. It is very simple, no A/C or WIFI, but the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Yes, it smelled a little fishy, but you're in a harbor, so what do you expect? Besides, you got used to it. It was in a great location,... More

My wife and I stayed here August 11th and 12th. We came for a two day getaway. We sold our own boat a few years ago and thought it would be fun to go out fishing again. Yes the rooms are on the old side,no phone,Wi Fi or fridge. They are clean and the beds are comfortable. This place is... More

I’m thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay at the Canadian Princess Resort. Three salmon and a halibut? That’s a great haul! I’m not surprised you had a successful fishing trip. The fishing this year has been outstanding. I’m so glad you enjoyed your meals in the restaurant and the service you received from our staff. We all work really... More

Great comfy beds & pillows. Good value, great location. But no phones in the rooms, no Wi-Fi available in the hotel, no fridge and a tiny ancient TV. The on-site restaurant which is a boat that appears to be falling apart, has horrible food, poor service and no kids menu. Our room was located across from their messy laundry facility... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the Canadian Princess Resort. I appreciate your feedback about our rooms. We perform upgrades every offseason and we will certainly take your comments under consideration. We currently offer Wi-Fi onboard the ship in the lounge and are working on expanding it to the rooms as well. We’ve worked very... More

The building looks old from outside, but upon seeing other hotels nearby, I think it's just the style and necessity in harsh ocean environment like this. Our standard room is spacious, 2 level, 4 beds (2 queen and 2 singles) one. Big enough for 6 ppl. It only has one tiny washroom though. The room smells musty and damp. Not... More

My wife and I stayed here August 2 & 3, 2014. We had a loft (2 beds up and 2 beds down) as it was one of the last rooms available. We were in room 228, which is a shore room in building B, with a balcony overlooking the harbour. It is right on the corner, and I think one... More

Thank you for staying at the Canadian Princess Resort. I’m glad you enjoyed your room. The pros: The resort rooms are slightly older, but very well kept, mattresses are comfortable and amenities are great. All of the rooms have a nice balcony and ours had a great view of the Princess boat and marina. The two day fishing was great ant the crew on both of the boats was fabulous. We did not catch any...
