We recently stayed at the Raven Hotel during our first trip to the Yukon for 2 nights to explore Kluane National Park by plane. The Hotel is a small charming Inn but we didn't think it lived up to the advertising we read. Advertised were 12 Luxurious Ensuite Rooms, I dont think we stayed in one , small bed, old... More

We thank you for your comments and for taking the time to review The Raven Hotel. We had just purchased The Raven 4 years prior to your stay and we completely agree with you, that the rooms were in need of some updating. Now that we are a little more financial stable in the business we have purchased all new... More

Motel is a basic clean comfortable motel. Nothing fancy but nothing wrong either. I would stay here again. Helpful staff A nice continental breakfast. The restaurant will be reviewed separately as it is definitely five stars. You must eat there. Expensive but worth it. It is even worth the detour from Whitehorse. More

On the way from the Fairbanks to the Alaska ferry in Haines we needed a place to stay and without reservations were able to get a room at The Raven. We were hoping for a nice meal. Unfortunately, the restaurant could not accommodate our late and unexpected arrival. We were very pleased with our room which was a nice size,... More

On September 7, 2011 I stayed at the Raven Hotel for the first time in about five years and the first since it has been operating under new management. I found it as wonderful as ever. My wife and I have traveled to the Yukon on other occasions with the Raven as a prime attraction. It is a bit misleading... More

The room in and of itself was one of the best we experience on a month long tour of Alaska and Canada. This is by far the 'top of the line' in Haines Junction. Chef Bongo from the Congo has a peanut and sweet potato soup that is to die for. make sure it is on the menu. The specialty... More

The hotel is very clean and the room is large. The fun in the room is that every where there are small sign boards haning what to do and better what not to do. The only disadvantage is that they make a lot of comercial for there restaurant but when you want to reserved for the evening you get to... More

We stayed at The Raven based on reviews I had read on Tripadvisor. I was expecting a great experience, but I was underwhelmed. The room was a higher price than any other motel in town, but for me it didn't deliver. The room was clean and in good condition, but pretty sparse. The TV was a 19 inch tube type.... More

Picked this place based on trip advisor reviews. Rooms are clean. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Not necessarily the nicest hotel room in the world but probably the best place to find in Haines Junction! Would stay here again for sure. Lots of people yelling on the porch at the motel across the street made us happy we'd booked here.... More

My husband and I stayed here on our trip from Ancorage to Georgia. I was put in charge of planing out our places to sleep, and this one seemed the best choice. I was so glad I choose it. The rooms were plain but VERY clean. The food was some of the best we had ever eaten. (beware it is... More
