Great big servings for only a fiver - you'll never go hungry here. Went for lunch with family and friends. Great coffee. Big servings of good quality lean cuts of meat - pub menus mean limited selection but what you do get is great quality. Crisp and tasty roast potatoes, slightly less serving than you would expect but made up... More

We have just spent the Bank holiday week-end at the Red Lion. We were made to feel most welcome on arrival and shown to our room which was both large and spotless. In the morning we were served what can only be described as a Ritz quality breakfast. All in all a first class stay which we will have no... More

I stayed with my best friend of 44 years (!) for one night on 30th November, 2010. Everywhere was knee deep in snow and we were freezing, so it was nice to be welcomed by a cheery Dave and shown to a lovely warm room. The room was well decorated with comfortable beds and well stocked tea and coffee facilities.... More

This pub is a must to visit when in the area. The food is second to none and is all cooked fresh. The rooms very clean, well decorated, and what great en-suites. Had a good laugh and joke with Dave & Jean they are really good hosts. We will be going back.

I had booked another hotel in Wainfleet for two nights Friday 13/08 - 14/08 because of the bad review. The other hotel The Woolpack can only be described as woeful, dirty and totally not acceptable. We asked if they had a better room and were told the romm we had was the best. We left and checked out the Red... More

Chose this inn / hotel because of it's location, it is close to the Lincolnshire coast, reasonably close to Lincoln and has a railway station within easy walking distance. On booking I checked the time after which we could check in - Midday onwards. We had stopped off on the journey up for a couple of hours. I called the... More
