Great place to stay and some loverly food too nice and warm and friendly
room was spotless,but there is some very dodgy and noisy plummbing staff friendly breakfast was ok but the quality of the ingredients could have been better overall not bad value for money
I stayed with my best friend of 44 years (!) for one night on 30th November, 2010. Everywhere was knee deep in snow and we were freezing, so it was nice to be welcomed by a cheery Dave and shown to a lovely warm room. The room was well decorated with comfortable beds and well stocked tea and coffee facilities....

This pub is a must to visit when in the area. The food is second to none and is all cooked fresh. The rooms very clean, well decorated, and what great en-suites. Had a good laugh and joke with Dave & Jean they are really good hosts. We will be going back.
