The Old Dorm is a cozy, quiet B&B with lots of character. It's a ten minute walk from the village and a five minute walk to beautiful trails around Killarney lake. Don was very friendly and helpful and made us an unforgettable five star breakfast. We look forward to returning in the summer.

We stayed here on BC's Family Day Weekend. We have been here before but it was 12 years ago. Too long in between visits. We stayed in "The Lady Alexandra" room which is on the main floor. It has a King bed, with lovely sheets/down comforter. We had French doors which lead to a small private balcony. We had fresh... More

We recently celebrated a special birthday at this beautiful inn with 15 family members. We were warmly welcomed, served sparkling wine in the living room with a roaring fire in the background, had a delicious gourmet 3 course dinner in the dining room, then retired back to the living room to share some special family time. In the morning, we... More

We recently stayed here for 2 nights, and we were delighted. Dan is a wonderful host, very accommodating, and an exquisite cook (his gourmet breakfasts were delicious). We stayed in the Lady Cecilia, with a view of the mountains and a bit of the water. There is a lovely garden in the back. We felt as if we were leaving... More

We recently stayed at this B&B for 10 nights. The rooms are clean, comfortable, nicely decorated either with shared or private bathrooms. The owner Dan is an amazing host and welcomes you to his charming property. Every morning Dan surprises you with a delicious breakfast beautifully presented. You are always made to feel right at home. We would recommend this... More

My husband and I just got back from a weekend at the Lodge and had the most fabulous time! The owner Dan is very professional and makes the most delicious breakfast! We felt right at home the moment we stepped inside. The property is very charming. We stayed in the Lady Alexandria suite on the ground floor and just loved... More

We came over to Bowen Island for business and were fortunate to get accommodation at The Lodge at the Old Dorm. Dan was very informative and extremely accommodating. We were caught up and did not start looking for dinner until 9:10pm. In the beginning of April, on a Tuesday evening, every restaurant and kitchen closes between 8 - 9 (pub... More

We stayed at the Lodge at the Old Dorm for two nights and were very impressed with everything. The Lodge is walking distance to the ferry, the house has been restored beautifully, and we had everything that we needed. Our room was perfect with a beautiful ensuite bath and allowed us to enjoy time alone or mingle with the other... More

We only stayed for one night at the Lodge but it was wonderful. Don took such care of us making us feel very special. We stayed in the Lady Alexandra room which was gorgeous. It has a very large soaker tub which is a definite plus after hiking the Killarney Lake earlier that day. The B&B includes free wifi, they... More

I was fortunate enough to get a reservation over the Christmas Holiday at The Old Dorm Bed and Breakfast. The location is perfect:10 minutes walk from the Ferry. The owner was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure I had the privacy I had requested for my 2 night stay. I stayed in the Lady Cynthia... More
